Following the conversation Izuku had with All Might, Izuku is surprised to see Uraraka and Iida waiting for him outside. "Oh, hey Deku!" Shouted Uraraka, running towards the green-haired boy. Greeting him. "Oh, hey Uraraka. What's up?" Asked Izuku. "Nothing much, Iida and I were just talking about you. About how you managed to not only be the first student in U.A to achieve such a high score in the entrance exam and the quirk assessment test. In fact, everyone wants to know how you became so strong!" Shouted Uraraka, eager to know how her new friend was able to build a strong body within the span of ten months. "Internship at Queen Consolidated, let's just say they put me through hell." Answered Izuku just as Iida walked up to the two. "Midoriya, about yesterday. I just want to apologize for the brash introduction when I saw you fight Bakugo. I thought you were just some bully who wanted to pick on others..." Said Iida, apologizing for his actions from the day before to which Izuku accepted his apology. "It's fine Iida, honestly I'm proud of being able to stand up to my bully. Takes a lot of courage." Izuku replied just before their conversation was cut short as Izuku's phone started to vibrate causing him to look at his missed calls and messages. Looking at his messages that a certain individual sent him Izuku's eyes widened realizing he was late for his training session with Oliver. "Crap, I gotta go. Something just came up. I'll see you guys later." Izuku abruptly says before leaving the two students behind. "That kid is such a mystery..." Commented Iida, watching Izuku run off in the distance.

Finally arriving at the abandoned warehouse to which Izuku nicknamed it 'The Arrowcave'. Izuku opened the sliding door to the huge complex as Oliver was waiting for him, his face covered with disappointment due to Izuku's tardiness. "You're late Midoriya." The stern archer says while Izuku started unpacking his bag. "Sorry sir, I should've told you this earlier but All Might wanted to speak to me after class..." Izuku responds, informing his mentor of what had transpired following the first day of class. "Of course he knows..." Muttered Oliver, turning his back towards the young Izuku. "Actually, he doesn't. Well, he suspects that you're training me and all... From how he mentioned you when we spoke he has a huge distaste for you... He says you're a murderer and a bad influence on society." Corrected Izuku, clearly seeing his mentor in a bit of distress. "Well, he's not wrong... Not after-" Before Oliver could finish his sentence a sudden flash of memories raced through his head freezing him in place. "Not after what?" Asked Izuku, now concerned for Oliver's well-being. As Oliver sighed the emerald vigilante turned his attention back towards his apprentice. Ready to tell him the truth. "Do you remember when I told you that my former teammates all got killed by a gang of villains?" Oliver asks, placing his bow down on one of the tables in front of him. "Yeah... You told me you had a rough time back in Star City... What happened really?" Izuku asks, inquiring more on Oliver's origin story. "It's better if I told you so you know why I do things the way I do things..." Replied Oliver, taking a seat in front of Izuku.

Before Izuku met Oliver, he and his teammates were dealing with a hostage situation in Star City. Unfortunately for Oliver and his friends, it was a trap. An ambush to be more specific in order to show that Star City's finest could not stop them. "We put up a good fight but unfortunately... It wasn't enough." Said Oliver, recounting the final moments he had with the people that he called family. "One by one, those villains murdered my friends in front of me. I was powerless, unable to do anything but watch as they effortlessly murdered my friends. Roy, Thea, Rene, Dinah, and Curtis... They all died for a cause that I created. A crusade that I made upon returning home after my 5 years in hell at Lian Yu. The only people that escaped were me and John Diggle. By the time I tried warning Felicity, my wife it was too late. They got to her too. I lost six of my friends that night. They were slaughtered, beaten to death. I barely escaped with my life that night." Oliver explained as Izuku just stood there filled with shock and grief for his mentor.
