Chapter Three:

(The Next Morning)

Harper had fallen asleep fast in her old bed; she had slept better than she had at all in the past week. Peacefully dozing off, like nothing in the world was wrong. Jay had woken up moments ago. He walked down the hall past Harper's room, where the door was oddly wide open. It was always kept shut, so why was it open?

He peeked inside and saw the woman sleeping in Harper's old bed-- but little did he realize that it was Harper. He sped to the kitchen, where Zane, Kai, Nya and Lloyd were eating breakfast.

"Um, excuse me-- but who's the girl sleeping in HARPER's old room??" Jay snipped.

"There's someone sleeping in Harper's room?" Zane asked, bewildered.

"Uh- yeah."

Kai and Zane looked at each other before bolting up from their seats. They followed Jay down the hall, where they stopped outside of Harper's room. Each of them glanced inside and saw the woman.

Nya met Lloyd's gaze and they both shared a light laugh. The three ninja returned to the kitchen with questions.

"Who is she??"

"You don't recognize her, Jay?" Lloyd laughed.

"Should I?"

Cole walked into the room, rubbing his eyes.

"Morning, guys." He mumbled.

"Cole! Did you see the girl??"

"What... Girl?"

"In Harper's old room."

"Do you know who she is?" Kai asked.

Cole yawned, "Yeah... It's Harper."

"WHAT???"

Harper was awake by now. It was hard not to be with all the running around and shouting. She groaned and got up out of bed, quickly put on some lazy day clothes, and stepped out into the hall. She walked into the kitchen and sighed; all eyes were on her.

"You guys are waaay too loud for it being this early."

Lloyd laughed, "Ninja should always rise up early. You know this."

"It's been a while, m'kay?"

Jay inched closer to Harper and poked her cheek. She looked at him and smiled.

"Hey, Jay." She hummed.

"Is it really you, Harp?" Kai asked.

She nodded and Jay threw his arms around her.

"I-I-I can't believe it's you! You're actually here?"

"Yeah, I am."

Jay pulled back with so many questions. Harper interrupted him before he could explode.

"Let me get some coffee first, ok? Questions after."

"Deal." Zane nodded.

Harper sat in the living room with all of the Ninja. She was parked next to Cole and Zane, ready to answer their many questions. Though, some would be harder to explain.

"Where have you been this whole time?" Jay asked first.

Harper took in a breath, "Hikikoro village. It's a tiny place across Ninjago, not many people know of the place. It's often looked over."
