Part Fourteen

2015, present day- age eighteen
Age of Ultron

Everyone files onto the quinjet. Clint and Banner are pilot and co-pilot. Natasha and Steve are sitting next to each other. Stark is across from them. Wanda and Ashlynn take seats towards the back together. Pietro follows them and sits to the side of the girls, but a little in front. (So like, to the left of the girls and up so that they could see him without looking to the side, make sense? Prolly not. Oh well.)

Wanda and Pietro were talking and Wanda said something that made Pietro laugh and Ashlynn felt a weird feeling in her stomach. One she has only felt a few times before.

Oh no.

Ashlynn was distracted and it took her a minute to realize that Steve was going over the game plan.

"We find out what Ultron's been building and we clear the field. Keep the fight between us. Ultron thinks we're monsters. That were what's wrong with the world. This isn't just about beating him. It's about whether he's right."

They arrive and they get off the quinjet, all going off to do what they were told.

Pietro runs into a building. "We're under attack! Get out of the city now!" The guy just shrugs and continues working. Pietro returns with a gun and starts shooting in the air. "Get off your asses!"

Wanda and some of the others were trying to get everyone out of the city.

"Your mans in the church boss," Friday spoke to Stark, "I think he's waiting for you."

"Come to confess your sins?" The robots deep voice rumbled.

"I don't know, how much time to you got?" Tony replies sarcastically.

"More than you."

Outside that building, the demonetized Iron Legion begins to climb out of the ground.

Ashlynn notices first. "Uhh shit. Guys you might wanna see this!" She says over the earpiece.

Steve starts to hit them with his shield and Clint attacks them by shooting at them. Wanda continues to help get civilians out of the way. Wanda falls to the ground and Ashlynn is the closest.

"Wanda!" Ashlynn uses her abilities and has the vines help her up.

"Thanks," Wanda says, breathlessly.

Pietro takes off running after seeing his sister is alright and runs through a line of robots, obliterating them.

And Ashlynn can't help but feel a little mesmerized by it.

Focus Ashlynn. She returns to the fight and takes a vine and runs it through a line of robots.

"Holy shi-" Thor begins, astounded by Ashlynn's quick removal of around ten deformed Iron Legion, right before he gets attacked by one of them while he is distracted.

Ashlynn notices and with the flick of her hand leaves come up from the ground and entangles the robot in a web of leaves.

Thor makes his way inside and sees a large creature-like machine begin to power up. Outside the ground cracks and the city begins to break away.

"Friday," Tony utters.

"Sokovia's going for a ride," the AI responds.

"Do you see, the beauty of it?" Ultron hovers high in the air above the city. "The inevitability. You rise, only to fall. You, Avengers, you are my meteor. My swift, and terrible sword. And the earth will crack with the weight of your failure. Purge me from your computers, turn my own flesh against me. It means nothing. When the dust settles, the only thing living in this world, will be metal."
