Pilot part

'Stefan, as much as I want to say I'll stay for you, I won't. it's over Stefan, please let me leave.' Luna says to her boyfriend. She just decided to move back to New Orleans, there's nothing left for her in Mystic Falls. 'Luna, think about Elena and what about Bonnie and Caroline? they are your friends, Luna, you can't just leave. Stay with me, please.' 

Luna sighs. 'Don't you get it? there's nothing left for me here. Elena is in a sleeping coma, Bonnie is happier than she's ever been and YOU are in love with Caroline. I don't want to stay, Stefan, I don't want to look at you every morning and know that you would rather wake up next to someone else. I'm done with that, I hate it here!' Luna screams at Stefan, holding back her tears. Stefan looks at her with tears in his eyes. 'I love you, Luna. but if you think it's best to go, then go.' he says softly, reaching for her cheek but she doesn't let him touch her and backs up. 'We're over, Stefan. I'm not doing this anymore.' she says, looking into his teary eyes. 'Luna..' he starts. 'No, no more 'luna' I don't want to get talked out of this. I know you are in love with her, and she loves you. You two are just forcing relationships with other people! she doesn't love Alaric, everyone sees it, just like you don't love me. Not in that way.' She pauses for a second and looks at Stefan. 'I'm leaving now.' She says to her now ex boyfriend. She wipes her tears and grabs her already packed bags from the sofa. She looks at Stefan one more time after closing the door behind her.

Luna Sanguinis is a beautiful young girl with amazing dark brown hair and grey-ish eyes. She is known for her shameless behavior, everyone loves her and people call her 'the light of the party' because she is the most of fun at parties or hangouts. She loves alcohol, and does exactly what she shouldn't do. Living her live, having fun and caring less. She just turned 20 last summer and she and Stefan have been in a relationship for almost 8 months, they met after Caroline called to inform her that Elena had a sleeping curse on her, she came to say goodbye and met Stefan after. He was broken, but Luna fixed that just by being the light of his day, everyday. But after a few months his light started burning for someone else. Luna could feel him being less interested in her, and could see the look on his face every time he talked about that girl. It broke Luna, and Luna leaves when she gets broken. She is the light of the party, the light of everybody's day, so no one can see her broken, that's not her thing, people can't see her like that. At least, that's what she thinks.

But today it ended, she knew he loved Caroline, she knew it because of the way he looks at her, talks to her and most of all, cares for her. She doesn't blame Caroline, she's just trying to make things work with Alaric because he is the father of her children, she gets it. She's doing her most to let everything be as perfect as it can be, that's how she is. 

Luna has lived in Mystic falls for almost 1 year now. She was born in London but moved to New Orleans with her parents when she was only 4, she moved back to study in London when she was 18 but returned not even a year after she left, because her adoptive parents died in a tragic animal attack. Luna doesn't know her real parents, they left her when she was not even a month old. But she was happy with her adoptive parents, they were the best parents she could ever imagine, but they are gone, sadly. 

Luna had always had lots of friends, that's why she decided to go live in Mystic Falls, she knew Caroline, Bonnie and Elena from when she was little, their parents were friends and she visited them a lot, each summer they even stayed in a vacation home in Mystic Falls. Luna's Adoptive parents have always been awfully rich,  they had several homes and drove amazing cars. All of those belongings now belong to Luna, but she never really cared for that, she's just happy to be able to have a home and change between the cities she loves the most. 

But today is the day she knows there's nothing left for her here, she loved Stefan with all her heart but she can't bear the look of Stefan loving someone else. It is time to go. 

She decided she is going to move to the beautiful home her parents owned in New Orleans, no one has been there in a year and she loved the home so much. She has an old childhood friend there, Hayley Marshall. The last time they spoke Hayley told Luna she was pregnant, they were on a phone call. She was really far already, and Luna wanted to pay a visit but she never did, weirdly. But she can go now, and meet her baby girl.

Luna throws her bags in the back of her white Mini Cooper and gets in the car. She sees Stefan walking outside but she doesn't say a word and just looks at him before driving off. she feels a bit of relieve forming after leaving his property. She opens the roof of her car and starts enjoying this. Finally away, away from Stefan, no more vampire drama. She's free.
