Chapter 11: Never Let Me Go

"JORDAN, JORDAN, OMG JORDAN!"

"Scarlet, Scarlet wake up!" Jordan jabbed his hand into my side. I let out a sharp squeak and rolled on my back. I sat up and looked out the window to be greeted with the sight of fan, tons of them. Most had posters that said "GET BETTER SOON JORDAN!",or, "I LOVE THE READY SET" My stomach dropped and my heart started to race. I buried my face in Jordan's chest, he ran his fingers though my hair and hummed a song to calm me down. I heard foot steps run down the hall and burst into my room. Camera men and news reporters shoved in my face. I push myself harder into Jordan, trying to get away from them.

"Scarlet!",Cameron and Travis emerged from the crowd of cameras and people, "We though something bad happened to you!" Travis hugged me but was shoved away but a news reporter and camera man.

"Scarlet, Jordan! Tell us what happened!" The news reported said, shoving a mic in Jordan's face.

"Stop, get away!" Jordan yelled pulling me close to him.

"But it will only be for a-"

"STOP!" Jordan grabbed the mic and threw it across the room. I jumped a little when i heard it hit the floor. The news reporter looked at Jordan, dead in the eye, and said, "This is live Jordan, and you might have just ruined your chance of ever being 'famous" The new reporter and her camera man left the room. My eyes peeked up at Jordan's face, it was red and he looked like he was going to cry. I sat up with tears in my eyes.

"Jordan, what's going on?" He looked down at me like I was a small child that had lost it's mother.

"I don't know Scarlet but you have to go with Cameron." Jordan looked at Cameron. He was shoving news reporters away before turning around.

"Um yeah, I'll take her back to her room." A nurse came into the room but just watched from the side.

"NO!" I yelled shoving my face back into Jordan's chest.

"You have to." Jordan said to me. Cameron walked over and picked me up. I wiggled around in his arms trying to break free.

"NO!, NO I WON'T GO!" I tried to kick Cameron but it was no use. Cameron walked out the door but before he made it out I grabbed the way and hung on for dear life.

"Fine!" Cameron said walking back into the room. He put me back down next to Jordan and walked over to the nurse. I sat up, wondering what he was doing. Not long after the nurse came over to with a needle in her hand. Before i could move my arm she gabbed the needle into my arm. I felt the orange liquid enter my body and fill my veins.

"It's going to be okay Scarlet, everything is going to be okay" Jordan said stroking my hair. My eyes started to shut and i felt weightless, like i could fly away from this hell that im in.
