"Mom, what should I pack!" I scream to her from my bedroom. It was the day before I headed off to California, My butterfly suitcase sat open and empty on my bed.

"Pack a couple dresses and about fifteen pairs of shorts and shirts. Dont forget tanktops and underwear!" she yelled to me from the kitchen, "bring essentials and toiletries!" I ran up to my closet and grabbed three sundresses. I folded them up and put them in the corner of my suitcase. Check. I then went back to my closet and one by one grabbed fifteen short sleeve graphic tees and cute shirts. I folded them all in a neat pile and carefully lifted them into my suitcase. Check. I closed the beige closet door and walked over to my pink and white dresser. In the bottom drawer there was a bunch of colorful and blue jean shorts. I picked out fifteen of the cutest shorts and layed them into the suitcase. Check. Finally I grabbed a bunch of underwear and socks. Check. I was now done packing clothes and now I had to pack the essentials and toiletries. My suitcase was only 1/3 full which was good. The most main essential to me was my bathing suits. I went into my bathroom and on the shelf my rainbow polka dot bikini was drying. I picked it up with my thumb and pinkie and ran to my suitcase. I dropped it in and thought about what else I needed. I still needed to pack my headphones, phone charger, toothbrush, toothpaste, body wash, conditioner, brush, shampoo, shoes, rubberbands, deodorant, hairspray, colored pencils, paper, and finally her waterproof, clear mascara. After I gathered all of that stuff I put it in my suitcase which was now packed to the rim. I forced the suitcase to close but it refused. Slowly I zipped it when the suitcase wasn't paying attention and closed it. I grabbed the suitcase and dragged it off the bed. I laid it neatly next to my drawing and homework desk. Finally I was done.
