THE LOST JEWEL pt2

The explosion destroyed pretty much everything nearby including the stack of hay we were standing behind the explosion was so loud and heavy that it flew us away making sure the jewel never left my hands I held on to it tightly against my chest I could not lose the jewel even if it costs my life.

My friends were caught up in the explosion and were injured and lied there unconsciously on the ground the moment I fell the jewel rolled from my hands far away from us even I was unconscious for a while but to get the jewel I picked up my unconscious self and crawled over to it.

crawling there I reached out my hands to get the jewel when a pair of legs stepped in front of me he bent down to my height and looked me straight in the eye

He was heavily equipped with guns and bullets with a black overall suit and a bulletproof vest, his hair in a neat bun reminded me of someone from our group.

He looked into my eyes and smiled at me.

"Renar?" I asked.

"aww look at you. You look so pitiful," he lightly said caressing my face which was burning with anger.

"you guys really thought I wanted to help you guys find the jewel because I'm on your team I just wanted to know where the jewel was just so you and your"hero" group couldn't find it, I was the one that put you in the wrong room so you could die I was the one that ordered the alarm to go off but unfortunately you are still alive," he confessed to me who was still unable to process what he said.

"but looking at you like this is kinda sad I mean there is no reason for killing you now you have pretty much died and so did the rest of your friends," he said chuckling looking behind me at my friends who were still unconscious.

"looks like I'm done with my first mission now onto my second one," he said picking up the jewel.

"RENAR STOP!!!" I shouted.

"umm, am I supposed to listen to that?" he said turning back laughing out loud.

"How could you betray us? The fact that we all trusted you just so you can lie to us."

"Yeah, I did, do you have a problem?" he asked.

"well your gonna pay for it" I stood you and pointed my gun at him

"ooh I'm scared please don't kill me," he said mocking and making fun of me slowly walking towards me.

"you think you can kill me id like to see you try," he said putting his forehead on the gunpoint.

"I will kill you," I said and pulled the trigger.

But to my surprise, the bullet didn't come out even tho it was loaded

"HAH! I said you couldn't kill me," he laughed at my face" I disabled the gun you really thought you cou-" he was cut off by three gunshots that pierced through Renars forehead resulting in him falling on the dusty ground with blood overflowing from his head.

I looked behind and saw Clyde standing there with a gun in his hands

"he disabled yours not mine," he said.

before anything else happened to somebody I picked up the jewel that had fallen from renars grip

Clyde and I proceeded to wake Julia up since she was still unconscious, she had burns on her body and she was the most injured one cause she tried protecting us with her force field but the wood pieces cut through it and caused her a lot of damage. Clyde insisted on carrying Julia on his back until she gains consciousness.

We went to the place where the jewel was to be placed, everyone in that area was in panic mode running everywhere 

we were startled by the huge amount of gunshots that were heard from the distance as for our safety we were loaded with guns wore a bulletproof vest because Renar's group was still out there 

in front of the wall was an old broken house that had been destroyed but it was enough for us to hide and finish our mission 

but it was difficult to go towards the wall since Renar's team was guarding it while being on the roof of the houses near the wall so they can shoot anyone that tries to go there, not gonna lie it was a really good strategy that was hard to beat, we waited a while in hope of them leaving but they didn't see to do that 

we had to hurry so we made a plan that was easy as well as effective we needed to distract them so we could put the jewel on the wall and end this 

"Clyde, you need to distract them so that I can put the jewel in" I ordered him as he replied with a nod rushing outside 

Clyde used his power of making holograms he made one of our group going to the roof and putting up our guns I could see the holograms from the crack of the roof they were visible and Clyde was doing a good job 

a lot of fo bullets were being shooted in our direction, we just had to wait until they were out of bullets the plan was going good so far Renar's group shot and reloaded and shot again until they realized that we were holograms but until they realized they had already gone out of bullets 

the other team captain ordered the rest of the group to rush  towards the house 

Clyde hurriedly gave me a signal and I hurried towards the wall with the jewel in my hand and a gun in the other, Clyde took Julia and turned invisible hiding in the corner of the room 

the group noticed me and rushed to stop I could feel them running behind me but I looked straight ahead but they were way faster I pulled the trigger and killed no matter who I had to complete my mission 

panting from all the running I put the jewel in the empty spot on the wall 

it was really quiet for a while I turned back and saw Renar's group turn into dust and fading away in the sky 

the houses around magically recreated itself and the city slowly started turning back to normal, I turned back again and looked at the wall and it slowly turned into a normal-looking brick wall after a second it fell backward and broke into pieces 

Clyde and Julia came out of the house and rushed towards me 

the sunlight hit our faces and our wounds started healing, tears dropped as we hugged each other in the joy of our victory
