THE LOST JEWEL

The mysterious place returned,

"We have to go in now," I said standing at the edge of the door ready to go inside 

"We should not wait we don't have much time left," ______ said and he rushed forward but was pushed back harshly by an invisible force.

"wait for the previous jewels it was only one of us that could enter," she said helping ____ get-up so now it's proba...

"me..." I said calmly cutting her sentence 

"In the map, it said 'the danger lies in there' are you sure you are going there? "

"I have to we cant escape unless we get the jewel," I said getting myself ready slowly I walked towards the door didn't realising that the barrier broke with my touch, I kept my hand on the doorknob and turned back to look at my friends they gave me an assuring smile that everything will be alright

slowly twisting the doorknob I entered the room only to find out it was filled with flying insects, despite my fear I step in just to get the jewel the door slowly closing behind me going further and deeper in the room hall the door felt too far {like the picture on the top} but I wasn't leaving without the jewel I finally saw something at the corner of the room shining brightly almost like it wanted me to come closer to it. It felt like I was being pulled in that direction 

Finally reaching there I saw the jewel, but the strange thing was that it did not have the black spot as the other jewels did something was wrong but I couldn't figure out what I picked up the jewel to get a clear look at it but I was right it had no black spot on it, a second later I heard my friends faint voice shouting from outside I wasn't able to make out what they were saying but at that moment I heard a loud high pitched ringing in my ears and I heard my friends say,

                                                                KINZA! DONT! TOUCH! THE! JEWEL!

I heard them banging on the door trying to get it open I let go of the jewel and it rolled back to its corner, slowly backing up from it something sting my right eye making my vision blurry I saw a black shadow emerging from the jewel slowly becoming bigger and bigger 

I ran towards the door the shadow following me I tried my magic but unfortunately, it didn't work reaching the door I heard my friends panic voice growing louder and louder pointing my wand at the door I ordered OPEN! as the door swung open running out hurriedly I fell and bruised my knee the door slamming behind me with a loud thud 

"Kinza we found the room its right there", she said pointing 

"come on let's go", she hurried me holding  my arm so I wouldn't fall 

my knees were torn off, blood dripping from my busted lip I used the leftover strength to get up people running everywhere in a panic

on reaching the door, we all went in to see an extraordinary view of many people standing there facing the jewel which was floating on nothing  the people looked like they haven't been able to sleep or eat for days just standing there with torn clothes and dirt on there faces, staring at the jewel 

we all walked towards it hoping nothing to go wrong I slowly brought my hands closer to take the jewel but the moment I took it out of his place all the people standing fell on the ground making us flinch 

a loud alarm went off in the room and a timer started ticking on the wall  we all hurried out running in between the people that were on the ground one of them caught my leg and made me fall keeping a tight grip on the jewel  I shouted for help the time slowly fading away looking at my left my friend was also on the ground caught by the people as the rest were helping her to get up 

what was happening? why were they not letting us leave? the time ticking away one of my friends came and helped me get out from the people's grip he pulled me up and we all ran towards the door the timer had only 10 seconds left 

hurriedly we all came out and jumped behind a big stack of hay the timer went off a loud beeping echoed in our ears and the room exploded.........
