STUCK IN A DREAM

"Hii!" I exclaimed running towards my best friend 

we hugged each other as a greeting 

"girl it's been such a long time since we met," she said swapping her arms around me and giving me a bear hug 

"yeah it's been a while I missed you," I said and hugged her back

we pulled back from the hug but something was kinda weird she looked extremely skinny she had bad eye bags and looked as if she didn't get any proper sleep she even had these weird red marks on her arms 

"hey you okay you look really skinny are you eating well," I asked cause yesterday she was perfectly healthy when we talked to each other on video call how can a person possibly lose so much weight overnight? 

"to be honest I don't really know what happened I woke up today and I had drastically lost so much weight and my back kinda hurt too," she said unknowingly of her own body 

"and what about these you didn't hurt yourself did you?" I asked and pointed towards the cuts on her hands 

"what? there's nothing here what are you talking about?" she asked looking at her arms 

"can't you see? it's right there" I pointed towards it, am I seeing things or she is not seeing anything how can a person go from healthy to weak in just a matter of hours how? how is it even possible? my head hurts from thinking all of this I don't want to know what's happening and I don't wanna find out I ain't no Shakespeare 

"leave it lets go," she said and pulled me towards the direction of the restaurant 

the streets were really crowded like did everyone had to come here today the restaurant we were gonna go to was full of we didn't have time to book since we were in a rush but now we have to wait for a whole while just for places to be empty so we can eat 

so we decided to hang out in the park until the crowd dies down 

after a while, we both were so hungry that we decided to go to the restaurant even if the tables were full after a long time we finally found a table on the terrace of the restaurant with the city view with the beautiful sea in front of us basically we got the best spot we ordered our food and we talked a lot

since the scenery was so beautiful we stood there and admired it after eating it looked so peaceful lots of people were passing by beneath us in all those people I managed to spot one of my guy friends who was too looking at the scenery from the railing 

since there was not much of a distance between the restaurant and the railing where he was so I shouted out his name to get his attention 

the fact that he didn't react after me calling his name a few times I kinda got tired and let it go 

my friend who was standing beside me called out his name and he did turn back on hearing her voice but not mine 

he turned back slowly showing us a horrifying scene he didn't have the front of his face it was torn out my eyes widen as I could see the inside of his face the half of his brain was hanging out from his head he had no eyeballs his face looked scarped in the most disgusting way possible the more I looked at it the more terrifying it got 

I let out a horrifying scream and closed my eyes trying to forget what I witnessed I opened my eyes and looked at my best friend smiling at him.......
