Late night snack

Fire and brimstone encircle you. The ever so familiar feeling of being trapped fills you. Your friends and family lie around you. You tear up but you're interrupted by a face. Red bloodshot eyes and gray skin. You wake up yelling in pain with your body on extremely hot. You quickly drink some water from a jug in your room cooling you down. You look to your bed seeing a scorch mark where you body was. Your body felt you were in danger so it must have lit up with magical fire.
(y/n):"Damn, gotta get new bed sheets tomorrow...*stomach growls*...but for now time for a lil snakki snack."
Kaer Mohren is rather dark and sorta creepy at night you think to yourself. But as your leaving you overhear Geralt and yen talking
G:"He's done great helping her. We couldn't have done better ourselves. But why is does he need to be watched? We don't even know if it's really him in this little fairy tale.
Y:"Fairy tale? It's an ancient prophesy. And it doesnt matter, do you not remember what she said?"
When the king is dead upon his throne of lies and hope is restored. Born again foes now join on an unmoving ocean to conquer the otherworldly. Amidst the battle stands the Dragon with evil at its back breathing flames on the elf king. With a mighty roar the Dragon may bring peace or destruction to our world.
G:"Every prophesy sounds that vague and flashy. Kings die all the time, otherworldly threats are all too common, and enemys make truces daily. It's not concrete."
Y:"If doesnt matter. Watch him..."
You start heading downstairs to get a snack. You contemplate what yen said. While she didn't explicitly say your name you felt as though she was referring to you. As you reached the kitchen you saw Ciri sitting there reading a book with a few to the side.
(y/n):"Hey, what are you doing up?"
C:"What are YOU doing up?"
She says obviously avoiding the question.
(y/n):"I lit my bed in fire and i'm kinda hungry. You gonna tell me why you're up?"
C:"I can't sleep. So i got a couple books and came down here to read."
(y/n):"Excellent. Keep it up."
                                 Ciri Pov-
Thank god. He didn't see me before.
Flashback 1 and half hours ago.
I walk into (y/n)s room hoping to find them awake to ask them something but i find him asleep. I notice he's mumbling something so i get closer to hear it.
(y/n):"...h..help....m...m..me...please"
C:"Oh no, he's having a nightmare"
I don't know what to do so i grab his hand in hopes it'll calm him down. I start to admire his features and feel a little bit nervous. But then i start to get hot. But then he starts getting hot and then hotter and hotter. Eventually steam starts rapidly coming off of him.
C:"What the hell?"
Ciri lets go and backs up. (y/n) then lights on fire. I'm in shock. He is now screaming not in pain but in what sounds like anguish. Before i can do anything he extinguishes.
(y/n):"Huh what's going on?"
Oh no he's waking up. I teleport to kitchen and sit down and start contemplating what i saw.
                                 (y/n) pov
(y/n):"You good? You look like you've seen a ghost."
C:"Yeah i'm fine, how's the food?"
(y/n):"Pretty good. Here try some."
C:"Alright. *eats some* ooooh this is good."
(y/n):"Here *hands her it* finish it."
C:"No it's yours"
(y/n):"Doesn't matter. You haven't eaten today right?"
C:"I mean no but..."
(y/n):"Then finish it."
Ciri takes it and within minutes it's gone.
(y/n):"Told ya you were hungry."
C:"Hehe. Yeah, thanks"
You nod and start reading a book you found in her pile. After a while you put it down.
(y/n):"You know, i'm training you and all but i don't think i know you all too well. You mind telling me about yourself?"
Ciri explains how she's the daughter of emyr von emris, the elderblood, and how she came into geralts companionment.
(y/n):"That's heavy. You're basically royalty in every aspect."
C:"Oh he thanks*blushes hard* what about you?"
You explain to her your story.
C:"Woah. You shouldn't even technically  exist."
(y/n):"Yet here i am."
You notice it's starting to get light out and you think it would be nice to make everyone breakfast. By the time your done everyone is up and eating you meal. You sit down to eat but feel eyes on you. You look around and lock eyes witch Ciri who stares for a minute but is pulled away by another conversation. Eskel and Lambert take notice of this and ask you about it.
