The Arrival

Geralt followed his leads in Velen But instead of going to novigrad he rushed off to skellige. He could not bear another moment not at Yen's side. After pursuing the leads in Skellige and having a djinn remove their curse which had binded them for so long they teleported to novigrad to find Triss and see if Ciri had been there.
They exited the portal Yen seeming fine while geralt seemed dazed and rather nauseous.
Y:"Are you alright?"
G:"Damn portals make my stomach churn. You know, we could've came here on..."
Y:"A boat? and wasted plenty of precious time getting here?"
G:*hrmph*
Y:"Quit pouting. We must hurry and find triss."
The 2 set off on foot to Novigrad from the 7 Cats Inn. As they walked in they bith had their minds on how the situation with triss will play out. As they entered the city something felt off. Wanted posters everywhere, guards in odd regalia, and a large crowd presence in Hierarch Square. As they entered they saw Felicia cori and Chappelle's Doppler on stakes. They both were then set aflame courtesy of Menge, Commander of the temple guard and witch hunters. Geralt and Yen both hoped that this fate did not befall triss. They went to her house and came across some looters. A quick smack to the looters heads granted the 2 info on the Putrid grove and the king of beggars. After asking a very odd but cheerful beggar where it was they found a door where a grizzled gentleman asked for a password. Not knowing one Geralt used Axii, the man now letting them in in a daze.
They saw mages healing the sick and wounded, selling potions and other services. After walking in Geralt and Yen Stumble onto a conversation between the King of Beggars and Triss. After some snarky remarks Geralt tells triss who he's looking for. She says she didn't know she had even reappeared. She had to pick up some items from a peddler. A trip through the sewer, a swim in dirty water, and a rat infestation later she directed Geralt and Yen to Corinne Tilly an oniromancer. They headed over to her place of stay.
G:"No snarky remarks?"
Y:"Excuse me?"
G:"Nothing, i just assumed you would rub it into her face that you won me. Passive aggressiveness is your forte' after all"
Y:"Simply having you is enough" *kisses Geralt*
After saving a godling by telling the owner that the house was cursed forever Geralt was able to dream where ciri was or has been. In the dream he saw Dandelion talking to a sparrow. But towards the end of the vision it went black and eyes appear, Dragon eyes. He rushes awake and tells Yen what he saw. Both very concerned for their daughter.
