"B I promise you she don't wanna see me" I huffed to bronny as we played 2k together

"Aye she said she'll be there" he shrugged

"She know I'm coming?" I asked while the 2nd quarter ended

He stayed silent and I kissed my teeth

"You didn't tell her did you?" Marvin, my little brother asked

"Man y'all are going to cross paths eventually, might as well do it at the James manor"

"You saying it like you regal or sum, YOUR JUST LEBRONS SON" Marvin said causing bronny to throw the controller at him making it hit the wall

"MICHEAL WHAT WAS THAT?" my mom yelled

NATE POV

"Why the hell we gotta go?" Kay asked scrunching his face

"Because I'm not going alone" Ariea sighed channel surfing

"You won't be alone, you'll have bronny, marv, zhuri; that's enough backup" He said

"Kay stop being an asshole, Ariea if you want to go we'll go with you" I offered as Kay rolled his eyes

"Kobe know you going to dinner with Mikey?"

"I'm not going to dinner 'with Mikey'...and why do y'all think I have to run every single decision I make by him" Aria sighed walking to my room

"Why can't she just get over this pimple faced bucket, Kobe's a good kid" Kay sighed

"Oh so you'd prefer her with Mike?" Kay asked sitting up

"Nah I didn't say that, I'm just saying bro could be putting up a front...for us, and for ariea" I shrugged

"Nate your thinking to hard, with yo weird ass" Kay said walking into the kitchen

"Im just saying, for all we know Kobe could be cuddled up with a hoochie right now" I yelled following him, probably loud enough for Ariea to hear

ARIEA POV

"Your gonna wear that?" Ida asked as I threw my Bryson Tiller anniversary hoodie over my head

"Its a family dinner, nothing formal" I shrugged

"About what" I asked brushing my hair

"Ariea don't be dumb" Ida spat

"Why should I tell him? So he can get mad at me again? Oh how about so he can pull up and fight Mikey again?" I questioned rhetorically

"I don't know why the hell you have an attitude but I'm not about to sit here and let you talk shit to me" Ida said taking her charger out of the wall and walking out of my room

I sighed and putting on my camouflage Jordan 10s

"Really thought Nate would come" I said to Kay as we got out of my car

"Yeah his ass gotta attitude about something"Kay said

"Like always" I muttered as he chuckled

Once we reached the door Kay knocked while I stood a foot behind him

"AYEEE YALL MADE IT" Marvin yelled with his hands wide

"Hey Marv" I grinned giving him a side hug

"Damn just because Mike did you wrong don't mean you gotta treat me like a stranger" he said throwing my other arm around him

"What's good with you kayyy" he dragged dapping Kay up

"You still small as hell bruh" Kay joked

"I haven't even hit puberty yet relax" Marvin shrugged inviting us in

"Bronny? Where are your parents and Zhuri?" I asked while we did our handshake

"Stayed in Cali for bryces game, but Zhuris upstairs" he said resting his headset on his neck

"We've been set up" I whispered to Kay

"Chill I ordered pizza, we can sit at the table like a family and everything" bronny said handing Kay a controller

"I'm going to see my bestie Z" I walked out running to her room

Before I was about to barge in her room I looked in to see her on the floor having a tea party with Mikey

My staring was interrupted when she yelled

"ARI!!"

Running up to me hugging my legs tight

"Hey Zhuri" I said, I looked up waiting for him to greet me but he just stared with a distraught look

"Zhuri I'll be in Bronny's room" I said walking out
