Jisoo's POV Is it wrong to say that I was already getting bored of my new husband?
Because he didn't utter a single word since we have entered the car. I already asked him so many questions in the hope that we might become friends by any chance, but as an answer I just got his silence and cold stares.
After finally ending our wedding ceremony, we were now going to our new house which our parents has bought for us a few days ago.
The car was filled with an awkward silence. Maybe only for me because I was sitting on the back seat fiddling with my fingers while he was sitting beside me looking outside of the window and the driver was just driving the car quietly.
Soon after we finally reached at the giant house or mansion in another words.
Our parents has a great test I must say.
The mansion is quite simple yet mesmerising. And my favourite part is it is not surrounded by so many bodyguards or security guards like my parents's mansion.
Well I had already convinced my parents to not let any bodyguards to stay at out house.
I don't know about other people but I feel really bad for those strong men who always protect us without thinking for themselves, by following us or standing at one place like a statue for the whole time.
But anyways, back to my life, Taehyung left the car quickly leaving me here dumbfounded.
Wow! What a gentleman!
The driver also stepped out from the car and opened the door for me.
At least his driver knows how to treat people with manners.
I smiled and thanked the middle aged man before going to get my luggages from the trunk of the car but before I could, I saw a man wearing all black already taking my luggages with him.
I don't like it when I see anyone else is doing my work instead of me. It makes me feel like a kid, so I quickly stopped the man by coming in front of him and said.. Jisoo: I am sorry and thank you for your help but I can take my luggages by myself. I said politely because the man looked like my father's age. The man smiled sweetly and shook his head, disagreeing with my request.. The man: I am Kwan Sang-hoon, the butler of this house so you don't have to worry. It's my job ma'am. He said just as politely I talked to him earlier... Jisoo: Jisoo. I am Kim Jisoo. You are older than me so you should call me by my name instead of calling me ma'am. I said smiling at him and as an answer he looked at me with a surprised look.
I almost jumped on my spot when all of a sudden that cold guy showed up in front of the door of the house and said.. Taehyung: are you just going to stand there for all night? Come quickly, I can't let my butler to see you making a fool of yourself! That will hurt my pride! He yelled from there with an annoyed expression. I rolled my eyes and got inside of the house while he was already striding towards the stairs leaving me behind.
When we reached upstairs, I saw that Taehyung was going to another room which was opposite from our bedroom.
And I know about where our bedroom is because I have already came to this house a few days ago with Jennie and Mrs Kim... Jisoo: wait where are you going? I asked Taehyung causing him to stop on his tracks. He turned around and stared at me blankly as if he was the one who has asked me a question. But nevertheless he spoke.. Taehyung: to sleep. He said emotionlessly and was about to walk away again when I said... Jisoo: but why are you going to sleep on another room? He stopped again and said... Taehyung: because I don't want to sleep with you. Jisoo: why? We're married already. You should sleep with me. He turned around and started to walk towards me with his eyebrows raised... Taehyung: and what makes you think that I will sleep with you?
Now it was me whose eyebrows were raised... Jisoo: isn't it normal for a married couple to sleep together? Taehyung laughed at my question like a maniac then smirked... Taehyung: married couple huh? This marriage is just an obligation for the both of us besides.... He paused and came near to my ear... Taehyung: do you really want to sleep with me? The consequence won't be good if we sleep together. He whispered seductively causing chills to arise in my body.
But later on my bewildered face got replaced with a playful smirk when an idea came on my mind. I smiled innocently and placed my hands on to his chest which made his smirk to vanish while a confused look appeared on his face... Jisoo: well my dear husband, you just said now that our marriage is just an obligation then how can you think that something might happen between us? And even if something happens then I promise I won't regret it. I repeated his words earning a glare from him.
He shoved my hands away from his shoulders and started to walk again towards the guest room... Jisoo: if you won't sleep with me then I will call your mom and tell her how much stubborn you are.
Jennie once told me that among the two of them, her brother was the most devoted child of their parents, especially to their mother. And her words were believed by me after I noticed the way he talked and behaved towards his mother today. One could say how much love and respect Taehyung had for his mother just by looking at his eyes.
He stopped again from walking after hearing my words, pausing for a while without turning around... Taehyung: Don't try to act so smart. I know that you don't have my mom's number. Jisoo: who told you this? I do have her number. In fact she, herself gave it to me before coming here. She was afraid that you might do anything stupid that's why she gave me her number as an emergency. I said honestly while he groaned and finally turned around to go to the bedroom... Taehyung: don't you dare to touch or get near me! I scoffed at his warning and said... Jisoo: In your dreams.
And with that I slept on 'our' bed with a grumpy and stubborn Taehyung beside me.
The next day I squinted my eyes when the sunlight came directly to my face through the curtains and looked at my left side only to find an empty spot.
I guess he left already.
Getting up from my bed, I made my way to the washroom and did my morning routine to get ready and leave quickly for my work.
After reaching the leaving room I saw a middle age woman on the dining area, arranging the breakfast items on the table. She seemed to notice my presence because she immediately stopped doing her work and was looking down at the ground, waiting for me to say something.
I worked towards her and gave her a warm smile before introducing myself... Jisoo: hello! I am Kim Jisoo. Nice to meet you. What's your name? The woman looked baffled after hearing my cheerful voice I guess, but she replied anyways... The Woman: I am Lee Areum. Mrs. Kim has arranged me as a housemaid for your house. She said still looking down at the ground. I nodded my head in a convincing way and sat on one of the chairs to eat the breakfast.
After finishing my breakfast, I was about to get inside of my car when I saw someone standing a few steps away while talking on the phone. The person finally ended her call and turned around to get inside of the house but stopped when she saw me.
And it was.. Jennie: oh hi unnie! Are you leaving for the hospital? I smiled when I saw Jennie and nodded to her question before asking.. Jisoo: yes I am. Did you need anything from me or Taehyung? Jennie: no. I was going to your hospital for my regular check up that's why I thought that maybe I can give you a ride. Jisoo: yeah sure let's go. I said and got inside to the front seat of Jennie's car while she made her way to the driver's seat.
