Jisoo's POV I sighed and looked at my phone, waiting for him to reply back. But nothing came, maybe he went to bed already. And...
In a swift moment my phone was snatched from my hand... Jisoo: hey! Kim Jennie!!! Give it back to me! I yelled at Jennie and tried to get it back from her. But Lisa quickly blocked my way while Jennie and Rosé were scrolling through my phone.
Both of them frowned upon seeing my and Taehyung's conversation and Jennie yelled... Jennie: what is this unnie? There is only few messages! And these doesn't even seem like a husband and wife's conversation! Where is the 'I love you' and 'I miss you' stuff?! Rosé: yeah, don't you guys talk with each other when you are in the hospital, or he is out for some...uhm...you know...the Mafia things? Rosé asked pausing between her last sentence, being unsure if she was saying it right. I rolled my eyes at them and swiftly pushed Lisa aside from my way before taking my phone from Jennie's hand.
Jisoo: no there is nothing like this. You guys just think too much. Don't you remember that this is just an arranged marriage? I clarified making Jennie to raise her eyebrows at me... Jennie: huh? But oppa loves you right? Jennie asked this unbelievable question and I chocked hard on the air. I let out a historical laugh and said... Jisoo: what a nice joke!!! He doesn't even care for me and here you are saying that he loves me! All of them gave me an unknown weird look but I couldn't care more about it. So I just walked towards the couch of Rosé's living room and grabbed some popcorn from the big table before popping one on my mouth.
They also came to sit with me then Lisa again said... Lisa: but Jennie unnie didn't you said to us on Jisoo Unnie's wedding day, that your oppa is the one who wanted to marry Jisoo unnie because he loves her? Jennie: yeah and I am really sure about it. Because he was looking for Jisoo unnie about for a year. My face automatically formed into a confused expression as I looked at Jennie in disbelief.
Jisoo: who the hell told you this story?! This is not true, Taehyung doesn't love me. Jennie scoffed and crossed her arms over her chest... Jennie: your husband, himself told this story to me and our parents. He even told mom and dad that he will not marry anyone else except for you. Jisoo: huh? Then why didn't he tell me about this and even if he does love me then why does he always act like he doesn't care about me? I asked her and she gave me a soft smile before caressing my back... Jennie: this is what we also want to know, unnie. He was never like this before. I don't know what happened which made him to be so cold and emotionless. Jisoo: I know, Jin oppa told me about this earlier.
Jennie let out a loud sigh and gave me a sympathetic look... Jennie: unnie, I know how much you are suffering because of Taehyung oppa's cold attitude but please trust me, he really loves you. He did everything just to find you in this one year. Please don't doubt his love for you. Jennie said almost in a begging voice, trying her best to make me believe her.
