The Return (Peter Pan OUAT)

Part 18

Y/N's POV

"When will she arrive? I can't wait." I asked quite impatient, as I waited for Felix his girlfriend to arrive. Peter gave her permission to join us on the island, unless she will turn against his rules. "She will be here any moment Y/N, calm down." Felix chuckled, as we were waiting on the beach. It actually has been four months since the wedding, but Rae couldn't come earlier here until she was done with her schoolyear.

She would come here by boat, as she is a sailor herself. I knew her from school, as we were classmates and talked to eachother most of the time. She always been a shy girl, but I think it really fits with Felix, as he is also quite mysterious and quiet a lot. Felix and me are quite different to be honest, but it makes our bond even stronger. I'm glad to have a brother like him, and I'm also glad about having two older sisters.

"There she is." Felix smiled, as a small boat was in sight. "It's gonna be much fun, I know it." I smiled excited, as I looked towards the boat. Something felt off, about the boat and her arrival. There wasn't anyone sailing her boat, which was quite weird really. "Felix, I think something is wrong." I mumbled, as my face became pale and I got an anxious feeling. The boat came in sight, and we soon saw what was going on.

Rae was there, in the boat, but I wish I didn't see. Her body was ripped open, the boat was filled with blood and she wasn't breathing anymore. "Holy shit.." I heard Felix mumble next to me, as tears formed into his eyes. "Oh my god, I'm so sorry Felix." I whispered, while still being shocked. "Why her.." He cried softly, as he got the boat back on land. "I don't know." I mumbled, as I started to cry without making sound. "Mermaids did this, I'm sure." He cried, as he sat down next to her bloody body. "I know they did, I hate them." I cried out, as it was a horrible sight for real.

"Please get Pan, please." Felix cried, as he hold her body against his. "Yeah ofcourse." I mumbled, as I walked back to the camp crying very loud. This is horrible, for her but mostly Felix. Felix has been unlucky his whole life, and now the girl he loves most has been killed by some bloody mermaids. I really feel bad for him, I can't imagine the pain he feels and I'm not sure how Felix will react if he realizes all of it. "Peter, please come with me." I cried, as I walked into the camp, which made everyone look at me. "What's going on??" He asked worried, as he pulled me into a hug. "Rae, she came here, but she is fucking death." I cried, as I got worried looks from the others.

"Damnit, who did that?" He said a bit pissed, but mostly worried. "Mermaids for sure, those bloody mermaids." I cried, as I hold him closer to me. "Where is Felix?" Pan asked, as he looked me in my eyes. "Still with her on the beach." I answered, as I wiped my tears away. "Skylar and Tyler, you two watch the babies and the others will come with me!" Peter yelled, as we all went back to the beach. "Felix, it's okay." I heard Pan say, as he sat down next to Felix, who was crying badly. "No, the only girl I love is fucking death!" He yelled hurt, while he kept her body close. "I know, and I'm sorry but there is nothing we can do mate." Peter mumbled to my brother, as he tried to calm him down.

"We should bury her, and make sure she knows she was loved." I suddenly mumbled, as it was something I really wanted to do for her. "We will." Peter smiled weakly, as he helped Felix back on his feet. "Come Felix, we will search for some lovely flowers for her." I said carefully, as I hold his hand. "Yea okay." He sighed deep, as he walked with me. "Would she like those?" I asked him, as he knew her better already. "She would have loved it, it were her favourite." He smiled weakly, as he was still crying. "Then we will take these, to remember her."

"Goodbye Rae, I love you." I heard Felix mumble, as we closed the grave. He put her favourite flowers on it, and he sat down infront of it. "I'm sorry love, I wish you were still here so we would have a future." He cried badly, which was really heartbreaking to watch. "I will miss you, always."

We later on went back to the camp, to clear our minds. I decided to stay with Felix tonight, as he really needs someone right now. "Can you bring the babies along?" He asked me, as he just loves them and they can maybe cheer him up. "Ofcourse, they love you." I smiled, as I took the babies and their stuff to his cabin. "Promise me Felix, that you won't do stupid stuff now." I mumbled worried, as he was also cuddling with the twins. "What do you mean?" He asked slightly confused, as he was looking at the seven month olds. "End your life, get agressive." I mumbled, as I knew something like this could trigger that.

"I won't, I promise." He smiled weakly, as he kissed my cheek. "Good, I don't wanna lose my brother." I smiled weakly, as tears were forming in my eyes. "You will never, it will hurt for a while but I hope I will get through this." He sighed deep, as he kissed Skye her head. "You will, and I will help." I said, as I layed closer to them. "Thanks sis, love you." He smiled, as he kissed my head. "Love you more Felix." I smiled wide. "Their first word needs to be mommy, because you are an amazing mom." He smiled, while chuckling a bit.

"Awhh, I hope so but you never know with these kids." I chuckled, as I looked at the twins who were clearly awake. "Say mommy." Felix said to them, trying to encourage them to say it. "No say Lixieee." I laughed, as I knew he hated that nickname. "Hell no, say mommy." He laughed, as the twins looked quite confused. "Lixieeee." I laughed, just to tease him.

"Don't think they gonna talk." I pouted, as I laughed softly. "They won't." He laughed, while he got interrupted by Phoenix. "Lixie!"
