It wasn't long before the howling winds started to toss us back and forth.
Kimberly hung on to my back with brute strength. Her arms were so long I wondered if eventually they could wrap around my neck. But I shook that off and started, again, looking for an island to hide from the storm. And then Kim shrieked.
"Tornado!" She cried. "TORNADO!" I looked at where her small talon (or hand as she called them) was pointed at, and immediately swerved to the left.
"No! Go to the right!" Kimberly yelled, though it was almost impossible to hear her yell over the howling winds.
"We can't be above water!" I realized suddenly. "I don't think tornadoes can form and go on water! We have to be over land!"
"YES IT CAN!" Kimberly yelled in my ear. Even that was hard to hear. "BECAUSE THAT'S NOT A TORNADO! THAT'S A WATER SPOUT, WHICH IS ALMOST AS DANGEROUS!"
I looked closer and I realized she was right. I started scanning the horizon, searching for a spot to land. I needed to either get underground or...
"Hang on tight!" I yelled. Kimberly obliged without a word, or so I thought at that time. What she said, was:
"NO WAIT I'M AFRAID OF ANYTHING HIGHER THAN A WATER SPOUT YOU CAN'T DO THIS TO ME PHANTOM!"
    But I didn't hear her.
I climbed higher and higher, triumphantly hovering above the water spout.
Then I realized Kimberly wasn't hanging on anymore.
At first I thought she was just lying peacefully on my back, but then I remembered she wouldn't do that. I also felt around my whole body before panicking.
Oh no oh no oh no oh no! Where's Kimberly? YOU STUPID DRAGON DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT YOU JUST DID? YOU PROBABLY KILLED A HUMAN!

I looked around before realizing that she couldn't fly. So she was either still plummeting down into the waters, or she had already landed. Oof. That must be a long way down. Doesn't that hurt? I guess she could have lived, but barely. Should I go down and get her? I looked at my surroundings and realized the wind had changed direction, and so had the water spout.
I'm sorry best buddy! I thought in a panic. Then I flew away toward a distant island, hoping I could have brought her with me.

Okay, so this is a short chapter, mainly because I have to write a special for St. Patrick's Day in Glorybringer...
Oh three moons this is going to be a long day.
Anyways, I'll see you all in the next chapter! Bye!!!
