I know that the chapters are too short and I'm sorry. I'm new at this and I'm trying my best! ❤️

It was early in the morning. There was dew on the grass, the birds were flying and the sun had just risen. Klaus and Rebekah were still asleep until they heard screams coming from outside.

"Monsters! Freaks! Disgusting beasts!"

Then Klaus slowly opened his eyes and saw Mikael standing above him.

"Good morning... boy." he said as he looked at him hatefully.

Klaus panicked and immediately got out of bed. When he turned to the window, he saw the crowd outside with burning torches and pitchforks.

"You killed half the village, you bastard!" Mikael said, raising his voice sharply.

Klaus was speechless and did not know what to do. He moved away quickly, trying to talk to him and distract him until Rebekah wakes up.

"If you had dug deeper it would have been harder for me to get out, Mikael."

"I actually buried you shallower so the beasts could eat you." the father said with a disgusting evil smile.

"I doubt it... I'm your son after all, aren't I?

And you said that you loved me!" the boy resorted to desperate measures as he devised his plan.

Although young, he was a good strategist for his age. Mikael approached Klaus slowly.

"It was a moment of weakness... you live like this so" he said as Klaus walked away from Rebekah but he broke a glass and woke his sister.

"What the bloody hell is going on!... Father?!"she looked around in surprise and quickly got out of bed.

Klaus ran away quickly, as if he had disappeared. The girl followed but she wasn't so quick.

"Is this bastard flying now?!" Mikael yelled.

Klaus stopped in the middle of the house when he saw his brothers looking at him confused.

"Niklaus... H-how? You are alive?!" Elijah said, trembling. He couldn't believe his eyes. Finn even more.

Rebekah locked the door to Mikael's room and went to her brothers. "We don't have much time, what's the plan?" the blonde asked.

"Let's run away, what do we have so much to think about?" said the eldest brother.

"How are we going to get through this crowd?" asked the hybrid.

In the background, Mikael could be heard, trying to break the door.

"Where's that idiot - Kol?" asked the only girl there.

"I'm here and I have a great discovery--"

"Not now, Kol, we have to run!" Klaus interrupted.

At this moment Mikael finally broke the door and the siblings went outside in front of the large crowd.

"Obviously we'll get what we deserve..." said Rebekah but Finn interrupted.

"You mean Klaus."

"No! We are together in this! And it's not just Klaus' fault." Elijah supported his brother.

"This is not our home anymore." their sister said.

They stood in front of the crowd and did not know what to do about it. They were about to get caught by Mikael because he had hurt Elijah. He was stabbed in the stomach with a strange wooden stake - White Oak. His pain was indescribable.

"I was going to tell you that this piece of wood could kill us all, but you didn't want to hear me..." Kol told them angrily.

Klaus held Elijah by the shoulder as he walked hard. It was difficult to get the stake out. It was very deep.
