Alice P.O.V
As soon as Fake Barbie heard me walking in trough the door she yelled loudly from the living room "Alice? How did things with Luke go?"
I could still feel myself blushing "Fine" I yelled back trying to hurry to my room.
"Just fine?" she zoomed towards me making me hurry faster up the stairs.
"Yeah fine, great really" I answered.
"Wait, why didn't he walk you to the door? Alice you should've asked him inside for some tea or coffee!" she scolded trying to follow me up the stairs but her ten inch heels slowed her down.
"He was tired, he didn't want to disrupt you guys" I lied jogging up the stairs now.
Fake Barbie followed quickly after me, her high heels clicking furiously as she tried to catch me "How thoughtful of him, where did he take you?" she asked.
"To one of his elegant buildings" I replied almost running to my room now, I didn't want her to see my blushing face, didn't want her to see my red eyes and blotchy face.
I heard her squeal behind me "Oh that's wonderful! Tell me everything!" she ordered.
"Later Rebecca I really want to be alone" I said.
"Why?" she asked, suspicion creeping on her tone.
"Because!" I snapped.
"Alice don't tell me you ruined things!" she hissed.
No, of course not, I only puked all over his floor and elevator, other than that it went great.
"No," I lied "He wants to see me tomorrow again, I want to get some rest so I look fresh for tomorrow" I said knowing that was a good enough excuse for her to leave me alone.
I heard her squeal again "This is wonderful news Alice! I have got to tell your father! You're right! Go get your beauty sleep I'll send in some cucumbers for your eyes also! I heard they're great remedy for bags under your eyes!" she rambled away, I heard her heels clicking away from me making me let out a relieved breath.
I shook my head as I entered my room and quickly locked my door, the darkness in my room brought some comfort to me, my head was pounding so much now all I wanted to do was sleep.
I held my head and let out another deep breath, I hadn't been lying when I said Luke wanted to see me again tomorrow. To be honest I had no desire at all to spend another day with him but the reminder of the look on dad's face made me feel guilty.
He had looked so happy and I was sure that by now the big mouth of Fake Barbie had probably told him everything.
I didn't know what I was going to do, on one part I didn't want to hangout with Luke again, I mean...he hadn't been that much of a jerk tonight, quite the contrary. I thought he would give me shit for puking on his floor, but he had been quite understanding. He had been kind of nice actually.
Still, I didn't like the way he thought himself superior and above everyone else, I knew he was rich and had a lot of power but did that mean he had to treat his staff like servants?
I let out another deep confused breath and stood straight about to walk to my bed when I saw a tall figure walking to me first.
I blinked and felt my heart skip a scared beat, was it my imagination or was something moving? I didn't know sometimes my eyes liked to play tricks on me in the dark. Or maybe it was the stupid wine that was still having effects on me.
