Alice P.O.V
It had been a week since I was officially grounded and let me tell you, it sucks.
Big time!
There was nothing for me to do except watch tv or be in my room, I couldnt even go out at all so I hadnt seen James in a week which killed me! He probably thought I was some type of hooker who only found him for sex or something like that.
Did he even remember me? Was he even interested me still?
I doubted it, it had been a week already since I last saw him and besides I bet he thought my dad was super rude and he didnt want anything to do with me anymore.
Which when I thought about too much got me super sad because I really did like his company and being with him, he was the kind of guy I wanted to get to know better.
We were currently eating lunch, dad had miraculously joined us, we havent spoken much since the last time in his office, which suits me just fine because it makes it easier for me to be here.
Being here isnt as hard as I thought it would be, but I do have to avoid Aiden and Fake Barbie as much as possible. I figured that if I get up early and eat breakfast with them then she leaves me alone most of the time.
"So Alice, what are your plans for tonight?" Fake Barbie asked me as we ate salad.
I looked up at her and forced myself not to glare, what did she expect my plans to be for a perfect Sunday night? Nothing, thats what I had planned, its not like I could go out or anything! She always asked me this, I think she liked reminding me that I was trapped in the house.
"I dont know watch tv," I mumbled what else could I freaking do in here that didnt include smashing all the glass?
"Sounds nice," she gave me a smug smile, "And you my darling?" she turned to Aiden.
"I'm going to go to the baseball game," he shrugged.
Dad looked up and smiled, "Who's playing this time?" he asked.
"Dodgers vs. Padres, it's going to be a classic" he replied.
My ears perked up at that, Tony and I would always watch baseball games back home, "Can I go?" I blurted out before I even realized what I was asking.
Aiden turned to me and narrowed his eyes, "No," he said quickly.
"Aw come one, I havent been out of the house," I said quietly flickering my eyes to dad. "Yeah well that happens when you're grounded, thats the point of being grounded, you dont get to go out," Aiden said frowning.
"Please? I love baseball games," I pleaded quietly giving him puppy eyes, truth was I was dying to get out of the house! I was so desperate to go out I didnt even mind going with Aiden someplace! Besides I had already forgiven him for what he had said about Katie, I got him back by putting salt in his coffee instead of sugar when he wasnt looking.
"No," he shook his head and scowled at me, "And dont give me those eyes!" he snapped.
I pouted and resumed eating my stupid salad with the correct fork by the way, I had so much free time I had asked one of the maids to teach me what kind of spoons and forks you use for the foods, yeah I was that bored!
Dad sat up and cleared his throat, "Why dont you take her with you Aiden?" he asked.
I quickly looked up and watched Aiden's expression turn serious, "Are you serious? I dont want to take her with me," he growled.
