Disappointment: Angst/Heartache

Ronnie had been waiting at Pop's for a couple of hours now... You were suppose to show up after meeting with Archie to grab something. But you hadn't arrived yet and despite knowing in her head what was actually going on.. her heart was in denial because of how much she loved you.. she'd been in denial for months now made herself blind to what was happening right In front of her.. the painful truth of where you'd been going everytime you made an excuse not to hang out with her..

Her gaze moves to the door when she finally hears your voice. She's perked up a little.. until she notices who you came with then the smallest smile drops and her heart sinks.. she starts to feel sick and betrayed because she's forced to accept the truth now how dishonest you had been with her.. the feelings crushing down onto her within seconds and everything she knew everything she built with you came crumbling down onto her in a heavier weight then she could handle.

You walk over with Archie giving her a smile and move in for a kiss.. She disses the kiss and gets off the stool backing away from the both of you with a mixture of hurt and pissed on her face. She's got tears in her eyes and her fists are clenched as she looks at you with such hurt and disdain.. it kills your heart to see it, but you know why she's giving it.. you can't deny the hard painful truth of the fact that you've been unfaithful and you've been hiding it for months. You'd done a pretty shit job at hiding it too, but she had been in such denial that you took advantage of her love for you. Now.. she'd obviously had enough and you knew that you and Archie were about to get ripped out because of it.

She Inhales sharply her hands shaking she wants to break down here, but she can't.. she won't her pride won't let her give you that sort of power. "I don't.. want either of you. To speak to me Ever again!" She states as sharply as possible and your heart drops "Ronnie.." You attempt but she holds up her hand to shut you up "No! It's over between us. Don't ever contact me again y/n ever!" She snaps before she snatches her bag off the table and walks out.

You share a look with Arch both tempted to go after Ronnie, but you also knew that would be a stupid choice too. Instead you both leave everyone in Pop's glaring at you both over what happened. You go back to his place to talk it through both worried about Ronnie now.

Veronica however.. she went to Betty's place. She was curled in a ball breaking down over what happened. Once she let the pain in it refused to leave. Betty hugged her best friend and wanted to punch you both over this. She listened to Ronnie talk.. she rambled about how she was never enough for anyone.. nobody would ever fully love her like she wanted. She hated herself but she hated you both too she hated breathing right now because it hurt to much.

Betty did everything she could aside from kicking your asses she stuck to Ronnie like glue. Ronnie had given all of herself to you and your stomped on her heart repeatedly everytime you chose to cheat. All the times you flirted with Arch thinking she didn't notice, but she did. She couldn't handle the overwhelming pain it caused. She'd broke she was miserable she couldn't handle pain like this and she shut down afterward not wanting to feel anything at all. She'd chosen to numb the pain by drinking Betty kept a hard eye on her to ensure she was safe with her but she knew Ronnie would never be the same after this. She'd never love the same and she'd never give her heart out again ...
