The place was filled with people.. many of whom Ronnie recognized from school or around town. Her death.. it had taken everyone by surprise. Ronnie the most.. she was so far in love with y/n that this was tearing her apart inside.. she never got the chance to admit her feelings before her.. way to early passing.
She didn't want to be here, but knew that y/n's family would need the support and honestly she could use the support too. Veronica walks toward y/n's sobbing parents she offers the beautiful flowers which they gratefully accept before she's in there warm embrace and they're thanking her for being there for y/n. Praising her for how much she meant to her.. there words although kind and meant for comfort also hurt deeply due to her unshed feelings.
She gives them a weak smile with a squeezed hug before she's moves onto y/n's older siblings they share hugs as well before she's amongst her classmates and fellow town folk who mourn the loss of such an amazing girl.. one who made others smile even when she was at her worst.. nobody ever knew she felt so down.. so disconnected because it never showed.. she always seemed so full of life.. so happy.
Lesson learned the hard way I suppose.. an extremely painful hard way.. Veronica sighs sadly and leans on to Betty the blonde girl wraps her friend into a hug knowing how she felt about y/n she understood how hard this was for Ronnie and she hoped to comfort her the best she could.
Everyone.. especially Ronnie had wished things were different.. wished they had known could have helped saw her acting different.. but everyone had been so distracted with the other dramas of Riverdale.. that her inner battles went unnoticed by those around her.
It didn't seem fair.. it made Ronnie hate the world to be honest.. she felt.. so pessimistic now.. nothing would ever feel right again not without y/n by her side.. she was gonna miss the sound of her sweet delicate voice.. the way there hands felt laced together.. somehow there hearts in tune to one another.. Ronnie felt so lost.. so broken so unsure of everything and she wasn't sure if she'd ever heal from this despite the encouragement and comfort her friends offered.. nothing would be enough to fill the hole in her heart.
