today, my father is going to bring me and my siblings, komaru and makoto, to meet his colleague's daughters. we never really had many friends, even though makoto and i were 7, and komaru was 6. it was 9:27 AM, and all three of us were in the kids area. another man walked inside and i saw my father shake hands with him. i observed that he also had two little girls.
when i saw the two girls, i immediately recognized one of them as the fashion model, junko enoshima. the other i didn't recognize. makoto shook me, "oh my god, y/n! is that junko enoshima? i'm such a big fan of her!"
when komaru saw the interaction, she just rolled her eyes and began to make friends with a girl with long braids and circular glasses. they were talking while makoto and i approached the two girls.
"y/n, makoto, this is my partner, mr. enoshima!" my father said. "hey kids! my two little ones here are almost 8 years old! this is junko," he gestured to the blonde, "and this is mukuro!" he pointed to the one with black hair, ocean blue eyes, and freckles all around her face.
"HEY there! i'm junko enoshima, and this is my older brat twin, mukuro!" junko exclaimed loudly. "hi.. im mukuro ikusaba, it's nice to meet you two.. um.." she trailed off, not knowing our names. "i'm y/n! and this is my older twin brother, makoto!" i replied.
"do you guys want to play hope and despair?" makoto asked us three. "YES!" we shouted excitedly. "i'll be team hope!" mukuro and i shouted in sync. we looked each other in the eyes, and started giggling.
—time skip to present time, you are 15 years old, going into your freshman year of high school, or year 10
im sad that the twins and i drifted apart.. i wonder if ill ever see them again.
