With rain pouring down on me, I thought of how my new school would be when I move tomorrow. We had to move because of my dad's job. We would be moving to Michigan. I have never moved ever since I was born. My mom stays at home while I go to school but she was also offered a job. So we would have to move either way. I said goodbye to my friends and walked away with tears in my eyes. I didn't let anyone see. It started to pour while I was walking. I started to cry even more. My mom saw me and asked what's wrong and I said "I'm fine" and I walked away. I went into my empty room, with only a sleeping bag and some wrappers from my leftover lunches. While my dad was loading the car up, I went to my neighbor's to say goodbye. I knocked on his door, his mom opened it. I was about to say goodbye to him, but I couldn't say it to his mom because she was coming with us for her vacation. "Can I speak to Gray please?" I asked, " Yes of course!" She politely said as she yelled upstairs for Gray to come here. While she called him, she asked if I wanted to come in. I said yes, she told me to have a seat while he came downstairs. I waited for him when I heard footsteps, my face lit up! Gray is my best friend and I couldn't wait to see him. While he came downstairs I was still sad that I had to say goodbye. I wanted his mom to let him come so we wrote a note and stuck it on the fridge while we went outside. We looked at each other hoping with joy, she would read it, we sat outside the window and every time she looked at the window we hid, where she couldn't see us in the window. We saw her looking at the note. "She's reading it!" I said quietly. "She's writing!" He said quietly. I was about to ask what do you think it said. But then Veronica came. Veronica is the meanest person you will ever meet! She and I don't go to school anymore cause she transferred to a different school. But she has many people that know her and put me on the phone with her. I screamed when she came 'cause she scared me. But luckily Gray's mom didn't hear it. Gray stated angerly " You should leave." but she didn't like usual, instead she said this. " What do you think you're doing here, I thought you were moving, let me guess you lied so you can get attention." She said with a mean voice. "No! I just came to say goodbye to Gray and play for a while!" I shouted. " Just face it, we all know you like him. Just admit it and I'll be out of here" She said. " I don't! And why do you assume that! Just because I came over to his house! I don't now go away!" I yelled. " Whatever, luckily I don't have to see you again." She said as she walked away with a giggle. When that was over I and Gray walked inside pretending to go get a snack and while I read the note. I went to the note to only see 3 tickets and the tickets were for his mom and him and me! I was so happy!
