Prompt: Y/N tells Hermione dumb jokes and cheesy pickup lines all day just to see her smile.

"Hey, Mione." Y/N sat down across from her with a smirk.

"Y/N. Do you need something?" She deadpanned without looking up from her book. Y/N quickly grabbed the book from her hands and placed it to the side.

"Feel my shirt." Y/N bit back a laugh.

"What?" Hermione looked up and glared at her.

"Feel my shirt. It's made out of girlfriend material." She winked and stood up, a small laugh leaving her lips as she walked away. Hermione rolled her eyes and shook her head, trying to hide the small blush that painted her cheeks.

Y/N was sat at the back table in the library, a book opened and resting on her lap. Hermione approached her and sat down in the seat next to her.

"Oh, Granger, hey." Y/N smiled.

Hermione nodded and flipped open her book.

"You know," Y/N started, "you're pretty, I'm cute. Together we'd be pretty cute, no?"

The busy-haired girl's face flushed a deep red. "I- Shut up." She bit back a smile, not trying to let the other girl have satisfaction.

Y/N sighed and sunk back into her seat and started to read her book again. Hermione playfully shook her head and also went back to reading.

A few minutes had passed and Y/N discarded her book to the side.

She turned to face Hermione. "It's a good thing I brought my library card today though, because I am totally checking you out."

Hermione rolled a piece of parchment up and hit it on Y/N's arm. "That's enough of you, I'm trying to read here."

Quiet laughs let Y/N's mouth. The corners of Hermione lips twitched up at the sound, and soon she gave in, letting a large smile frame itself on her face.

Y/N stopped laughing and smiled at Hermione. "There's that pretty smile."

"Oh, shut up."
