Louis Tomlinson sighed as he stepped into his English class, that kid with all the tattoos was nice enough to help him though.

He had just moved here from across the country due to his dad getting transferred, so this was his first day. The only problem was that since it was almost the middle of the school year almost everyone had already separated into groups.

Louis sat in a seat in the front of the class as he pulled out his English textbook, most of this stuff they had already taught him at his old school so Louis decided to read ahead a few chapters.

Right after the bell rang, the door swung open as a bright-eyed brunette ran in, her hair tousled and her breathing heavy.

“Ms. Anderson, you’re late.” The teacher said without even looking up from the attendance sheet.

The girl gave him a bright smile, running her fingers through her hair, “I’m really sorry, Mr. Stevens! I had a thing...”

Mr. Stevens nodded, “Take your seat.”

Louis looked at her with a raised eyebrow, even the new guy (him) hadn’t been late.

She adjusted her grip on her backpack as she walked to her seat in the middle, glancing around at everyone else and giving them all smiles and small hellos.

Louis returned to his book, a few minutes later he closed the book and stood.

Mr. Stevens looked up, “Did you have something to say, Mr. Tomlinson?”

“No,” Louis shook his head and shrugged, “I’m just done with the book.”

“Already?”

Louis nodded, “I just moved here and my old school was already to chapter 13....which is only three chapters from the end of the book. I read the first two this morning during my free period, and just finished the last chapter on the value’s of proper sentence structure.” Louis sighed, “And just so you know you’ve forgotten three commas in your first paragraph on the board, you have multiple run on sentences, and you lack the proper descriptive ability to describe Romeo and Juliet’s tragic story at any higher then a third grade level from what I see.”

The classroom went completely silent as everyone watched Mr. Stevens, the 6’ 2”, muscular teacher, stand and walk over to the board. In the corner, he began writing things down, “Mr. Tomlinson has been the only one who has seen any of the mistakes that I have put here.”

Louis tapped his foot as he grew impatient, “Can I go now?”

“Class isn’t over yet, Tomlinson.”

“That’s true,” Louis shrugged, “But I prefer not to waste time on things that hold no value to me or do not benefit me any. Since I have already memorized the material given to me within this textbook this class has become a waste of time both in value and benefit.”

“The answer is still a no.”

Louis rolled his eyes, “And your sentence structure is still wrong on the board, I thought I would be nice and not embarrass you again in front of your class but it appears that we aren’t going to be each others favorites this year....if you even last that long considering the amount of mistakes I have noticed and it’s only my first day.” Louis leaned against his desk and raised an eyebrow, “I’d like to ask where you studied exactly since you’re an english teacher and still forgetting to dot your i’s and cross your t’s.”

Talia huffed, the legs on her chair screeching against the floor as she stood, pushing it back, “I’d shut up now if I were you. Disrespecting a teacher isn’t going to get you anywhere in this school, nor is it going to make you popular with anyone. So shut your yapper and sit down before I force you into that chair.”
