Chapter Four: Planning?¿

AN: Chapter four :)

Drew POV
"We should ask everyone to go have a fancy dinner at the cruise ships restaurant" Gary suggested. "You want to see Leaf in a dress" I retorted. "Vice versa with May" He replied. I rolled my eyes and took my pokénav out.

I texted everyone
Drew: Dinner in 1 hour at 6? Formal restaurant on this boat(Gary's Idea)
May: Sure, Leaf and I are in
Dawn: I'll drag Paul there
Ash: FOOOOOOOOOOOD!!!!

I sweat dropped at Dawn and Ash's texted but told Gary "Everyone's going to be there tonight" He smiled and said "Now time to get ready for tonight!" I smirked and said "Planning to ask Leaf out tonight?!" He replied "Maybe"

May's POV
"Leaf we need to get ready to go tonight for a formal dinner!" I exclaimed after reading Drew's text. Leaf read the texts and said "Okay!" We both took a quick shower and looked through all our dresses.

I chose a sapphire blue strapless dress that gently skimmed the floor. There was a pretty corset backing and I loved it. Leaf chose a strapless dark green cocktail dress that ended just above her knees and we both looked great.

"Let's kick the boys outta Misty and Dawn's room so we can all help each other." I said. Leaf texted Misty and Dawn. One moment later we heard doors opening and closing them slamming shut.

"Done! Let's go over!" Leaf said proudly. I grabbed my jewelry box and walked over with Leaf dragging me. We knocked on Dawn's door and the door opened right away.

Misty was wearing a cerulean blue one strap dress that flared outwards and ended at mid thigh. "Dawn made me" She stated. "You look great" I said. She rolled her eyes and let us in.

Dawn standing in front of a floor to ceiling mirror and putting on earrings. Her dress was a light pink strapless dress that hugged her well and ended just above mid-thigh.

"Hey girls!" She exclaimed. "You all look great" She added. We thanked her and I joined her in front of the mirror. I put my dangling sapphire earrings on but I couldn't get the clasp on the necklace.

"Who bought you that gorgeous set of jewelry?" Leaf asked while I slipped the sapphire bracelet on as well. "Erm..." I didn't really want to tell them that for the last three of my birthdays each was from Drew.

"Her Drewsie gave the set to her" Dawn announced. Darn it I forgot that I told Dawn ages ago. "That's so cute!" Leaf exclaimed. "We're just friends and rivals" I told them. "Doesn't look like it" Misty states.

"May and Drew sitting in a tree k-i-s-s-i-n-g" Dawn began singing. I put my hand over her mouth and she glared. "Well same goes to your three with Paul, Ash and Gary" I replied. "I DONT LIKE HIM" the three of the chorused.

I just laughed and I began curling Misty's hair for her. Misty's shoulder length hair looked adorable in curls and I added a blue star clip to pin her bangs back. Dawn braided my hair into a cool design that looked like a rose from the back.

Dawn's hair was already pre-curled in the look she did for the Sinoh grand festival. Leaf's usually straight hair was in a low side pony tail and the pony tail was curled.

"What time is it?" Misty asked us. "5:50" Leaf replied. "We left our shoes in our room, we better hurry and grab them" I told her. We scurried across the hall back to our room to grab our heels.

I wore sparkly sapphire flats and I noticed that I still had the necklace in my palm. Leaf wore 4inch strappy green heels for tonight and she said "I think we're ready" I smiled and replied

"I just can't get the clasp on my necklace" She came behind me and said "Let me try" She tried to undo the clasp but it wouldn't work. "How do you ever wear this if the clasp won't open!" she demanded. "I honestly don't know" I replied.

"They should be here any moment" Leaf told me. I nodded and we waited patiently for the guys to knock on the door. Suddenly Dawn and Misty burst in and said "We're here to wait with you!" Dawn squealed.

"Can either of you open the necklace clasp?" I asked them. Dawn and Misty both tried to the point where Misty was about to crash her mallet on the clasp.

Knock knock knock. "Wait a moment!" Dawn called out. "Actually just open the door yourselves" Leaf called out. The door opened and the 4 boys walked in. The girls were crowded around me still struggling with the clasp.

"This is so frustrating!" Misty exclaimed. "The clasp won't budge" Dawn let out an aspirated sigh. Drew smirked at me knowingly. "Drew you bought it help me!" I said glaring at him.

He took the necklace from Dawn and gently placed it around my neck. He quickly pushed the claps together and it clicked. "Only I can do it" he whispered and smirked. I blushed at how close we were together and I heard everyone else giggling.

Drew's POV
I never told May but the clasp was made so I could only undo it and put it together. It was nice to see that she actually decided to wear the whole set tonight.

I won't deny the fact that she looked amazing but there was no way I was going to admit it. Not to her or not to anyone.

Gary already started to act smart and stubborn with Leaf and I smirked at his attempts. Ash liked Misty obviously and Paul wouldn't admit anything but we all knew he fancied Dawn
