Louis Tomlinson is a 17 year old who lives with his Catholic-crazed mother, Johannah. He grew up with no father, and no siblings. So it was just him and his mom growing up. He loves her to death, but her obsession with Catholicism can go a little overboard sometimes. He doesn't do much with his free time, except that he's part of a teen group at his church, which his mother is the leader of. It's every Saturday night, except on the third Saturday in the month. It's held in the youth room which is in the same building as the Church. Louis' not a huge Catholic, but he loves the embrace that this teen group gave him. You could say that Louis is an outcast, but this teen group helps him socialize and fit in for once.
"Okay now fellow members! Today we're going to plan a secret thank you party for Father Neil for everything he has done for us. Now get into small groups and brainstorm what we should do at this party and then let me know!" exclaimed Johannah.
So Louis walks over to his usual group members; Liam and Zayn. Liam has been Louis' best friend since he could remember, and Zayn just came in the picture about a year ago when he joined the teen group. They are his only friends at school, but he's okay with that.
Ever since Louis came out last August, life has been rough for Louis. His mother isn't happy with his lifestyle, but neither Louis nor Johannah talks about it. Louis feels like if he does, she'll say something offensive and kick him out. But in the meantime, he's content with the relationship he has with his mother.
Which is mainly just talking about the teen group, and small talk about mass and other things."Hey Louis! Have any thoughts on this party?" said Liam.
"I think we should have a banner saying 'Thank you Father Neil'. And Zayn could paint it! Since you're amazing at art." Louis shoots a smile at Zayn.
"I second that." agreed Liam.
"Awe lets not get all sappy here lads, but thanks. Lets go tell your mother about the idea!" Zayn isn't much for compliments, he gets embarrassed.
"I think she'll love it..." says Louis, looking down at his feet. Obviously looking upset.
"Hey man what's up? Are you still upset about Harry and Cara?" says Liam, trying not to sound rude.
Harry. Styles. Harry is Louis' crush, and has been since the sixth grade. He has everything Louis looks for in a guy and more. He has curly brown hair, green eyes, he's tall AND has a smile to die for. Just one problem, he has a girlfriend. Cara to be more specific, and they just got together a week ago. Hearing the news broke Louis, but his friends are always there for him. Louis has been hurt too many times, and they don't want to see him upset again.
"I mean... yeah. Why wouldn't I be? My dream man is with some woman, who isn't even pretty. Like come on now. Who even has a tiger tattoo on their finger? No one. Except her. Fucking Cara." says Louis angrily.
"Maybe if you had the guts to talk to him, you two could be friends." says Zayn, trying to sound hopeful.
"How can I be friends with a boy I am extremely attracted to Zayn?" Louis shakes his head. Zayn just looks around.
"Louis, you never know. Summer is almost over, you may have some classes with him senior year. That will give you a reason to talk to him!" said Liam
"I fucking hope so, or else I'm transferring schools." says Louis jokingly.
The boys walk over to Louis' mother and tell her the great idea, which by the way, she loves. She will even buy all of the materials needed for the banner, which makes Zayn excited since he doesn't have enough to buy it for himself. He spends all the money he has on tattoos.
Johannah is happy that Louis is socializing more, thanks to this teen group that she came up with, but she hates the fact that her son is gay. She wants him to live a long happy life with a wife and kids, not a guy. She brought him to this group so that she could maybe change him. Change him into the normal Catholic that he should be. She hopes that maybe after being in this group for so long, he'll realize his sins of being gay and change for the better.

The countdown to Louis' senior year was coming to an end and he couldn't be more conflicted. Sure he was a shy boy, but he also really needed to break out of his shell and actually talk to Harry. That is, if the two have any classes together. He just needs to build his confidence a little higher, and has only exactly ten days to do so. Louis' mother is out of town, so now he's in charge of the teen group tonight. He's a little nervous, because she didn't leave him an agenda of what to do. So he sits down at the kitchen table and brainstorms a bit.
"We could do... nah. Or maybe... oh no. Ah! We could do this.... wait. No." Louis mumbles to himself.
The thought of being in charge annoys Louis, because he's used to just following his mothers orders. It also annoys him, because his mother should of made the list of stuff to do before she left and he has no clue on what to do. What else should he do? Call Liam and ask for his opinion.
"Come on Liam, pick up. Pick up. Pick up." Louis groans when Liam doesn't answer. So he calls again.
"Hey Liam... you finally picked up. I have a crisis. Yes it's Louis you dumb shit, don't you have caller ID on? Anyways, the crisis is that I'm in charge of the group tonight and I need your help. I have no clue what to do... but she text me this morning saying that I have to great the newest member of the group. We'll just play it by year I guess. Never mind. See you tonight."

Hours later around 5 o'clock, Louis stumbles his way to his car and drives to the church. It's about fifteen minutes away from his house. He taps his hands on the wheel to the music on the radio. It makes him sad that summer is almost over and that he'd have to go back to hell. School wasn't that easy for Louis, since everyone made fun of him for being gay. But he's glad that he has Liam and Zayn, and this teen group that his mother started. Speaking of his mother, he hasn't heard from her all day.
He sighs as he enters the parking lot of the church, just remembering that he has to talk to the newest member today. He hates talking to new people, and trys to avoid it whenever he can. But this will be good practice talking to someone new for when he will talk to Harry. Louis has never talked to him, only admired from afar. As he walks into the church, Liam and Zayn push Louis outside again.
"What the hell guys?" exclaims Louis.
"It's Harry. Harry is the new group member." says Liam and Zayn in unison.
"Wha-what? No. This can't be happening. I'm leaving." says Louis.
"No you're not, you're going in there and talking to him like what your mother said. Haha, I just sounded like an older brother ordering you to do what mom says, but you will go in there" says Liam. Zayn nods in agreement.
"I can't, I'm shaking. See! I'm gonna pass out. Is it hot in here? I'm sweating..." Louis says, freaking out.
"We're outside genius, but it is August so yeah it's kind of hot. Anyways, lets go inside and find Mr. Gorgeous for Louis" says Zayn.
