Before Louis walks inside his home, he sits in his car in the driveway and let what happened soak in his mind. He thought long and hard about those pamphlets that Harry had. Maybe this isn't about Harry and Cara. Maybe they were about someone else closer to home, like his parents. Now it's just a matter of which parent... Harry didn't talk about either of them. Just vaguely, and that he wanted to get away from them. Louis wants to know what's going on in Harry's family, but they're not close enough friends yet. Yet. Soon, Louis thought, soon enough he'll find out. But for now, Louis' just glad that Harry will talk to him.
Louis sits in his car for just a bit more as he stares at the almost sunset setting. The thing he loves most about summer is that it's still light out around eight at night. He'll definitely miss that when it starts to change into fall. Evetually he gets out of his car and slowly walks up to his house. Louis is greeted by his mother at the door. He's happy that she's home, but he kind of liked it when it was just him. He usually enjoys it when his mother isn't there, it gives him a chance to finally breathe. Not anytime soon, Louis thought.
"Okay so I got you something honey, close your eyes!" Johannah holds a wrapped up present and lays it in Louis' hands. "Here you go! I hope you like it."
Louis excitedly opens up the mystery present, which is his own bible. "Wo-wow mom, thanks. It's great." He's not so excited about it, but he pretends to.
"Anytime! Now you can stop borrowing mine when we do our favorite bible verses at teen group. Speaking of that, how did it go? Who came? What did you do?" Johannah is interested to know what her son has son while she was gone.
Louis has now just come up with a conclusion - he just likes teen group for the social aspect of it. Well, he still enjoys being there but he now gets to hang out with Harry who surprisingly, besides Liam and Zayn, likes him. Who knew that Louis Tomlinson would enjoy socializing. Well he wouldn't really call it socializing, since he really talks to now three people, but still.
"Oh, well it went fine. Pretty much everyone came, but Liam and Zayn had to leave for their band practice." Louis leaves out the Harry part, because if he starts talking about him, he doesn't know if he's going to be able to stop.
"What about the newest member?" Johannah is now sitting down on the couch next to Louis. She could read his mind and body language; she just knew that Louis was holding back from talking about it.
"Oh. He's nice, I go to school with him. And here's his permission slip for the soup kitchen day." Louis trys to slide past this topic nonchalantly, but his mother isn't about to let it slide just yet.
"So he's your age? Is he catholic? What about his parents?"
"Mom, he's just a really nice guy. You'll love him. I promise. Stop asking me so many questions, my brain is too tired to maintain what you're even saying." Louis still covers up how he really feels. He wasn't lying though. He is really nice and his mother will love him, as long as she doesn't find out about those pamphlets. Or even worse, how Louis feels about him...

Louis anxiously waits until Saturday. He's been rehearsing talking to Harry in front of his mirror as well as changing his appearance. Instead of keeping his facial hair uncanny, he shaved all of his facial hair off. Baby face Louis is back again, the last time that he shaved his facial hair was, well, never. He didn't know why he did that, but he likes his look right now. He also started to wear stripes more instead of dark clothing, why? He doesn't know either. Maybe it's because he feels happier, but all that matters is that he's content and a little more confident than he was before.
Saturday finally comes around and Louis feels like he's going to throw up. One, he's going to see Harry tonight and two, school starts in two days. So Louis prepares himself mentally and physically. Once he found the perfect outfit, he walks downstairs.
"Nice outfit, but why the sudden change?" Johannah says, looking a little confused. She's used to Louis' dark clothing, but she isn't complaining about his new look. He looks more Catholic; it's finally working Johannah thinks. This group finally is changing him into someone normal, she thought.
"My old look was kind of boring. I like this." Louis walks past his mother and grabs an apple as well as his car keys which are laying on the counter.
"Where are you going?" exclaims Johannah.
"I'm gonna meet up with Liam and Zayn before the teen group. I'll see you there!" And with that, Louis left.

On the drive to Liams, Louis thought. He always thinks when he's driving, it's kind of just what he does. It's also the only quiet place he has. One time he got in a fender bender because he was thinking just a little too much, but there wasn't much damage. He pulls into Liams driveway and see's Zayns car there as well. They're like two peas in a pod, thinks Louis. But when they're together, they're the three musketeers. He shoots Liam a text saying that he's here.
Liam's house always smells nice, like pears or something. His mother is always obsessed with keeping the house clean and tidy, as well as smelling nice. They boys went up to Liams room to hang out before the group. It's funny, because Liam's room is all messy and smelly, and you can barely see the floor as opposed to the rest of the house.
"So how was talking to lover boy last week Lou? Was it everything you dreamed of and more? And by the way, nice look," smirked Zayn. They three haven't been in much contact since the last meeting, they've all been pretty busy.
"Shut up. I like it. But yes it was. We really hit it off except that he's still taken." Louis hates the fact that Harry has a girlfriend. It's not even that he's in a relationship, it's the fact that it's with a girl. That just means that Harry is straight and doesn't see Louis like the way Louis sees Harry.
"S'alright, at least he likes you. You two seemed like you knew each other for years when you were taking. Plus the fact that you were practically glowing." Liam chuckles.
"No I was not! I was simply happy, alright? Anyways. How was the gig? Bigger crowd than before?" Louis asks, trying to hide him blushing. He's genuinely happy that his two best friends are making a career out of his talents, but he still feels worthless.
"Man you wouldn't believe it. We played at this bar and it was packed. All for us! Isn't that right Liam?" Zayn smiles. He smiled so much that you could see the crinkles by his eyes.
"Yeah it was intense, sucks that you couldn't come though, Lou." says Liam.
"Yeah I'm sorry, it was just my mom. She made me help plan on what we're doing for tonight." Louis sighs.
"Next time though, right? You're our good luck charm mate." says Zayn. Him and Liam knows how crazy she can get with things, but they don't mention it to Louis. They feel like it's a sensitive subject, and they don't want to stir any feelings in Louis right now.
"I guess so." Louis shrugged. "Let's play some Xbox before we leave, I'm in the mood to kick someone's ass.
