✿-Melissa starts remembering what happened in the incident-✿

It was a rainy night when Konrad and I were riding in a car on our way to the masquerade party. It was going to be a night full of happiness and fun but it was all turned upside down when they came. They were a group called the Saddest of Sinners, or S.o.S.

The group came to ruin the party since it was full of corrupted people. But before that party ever started they had left a note saying that if they call off the party they would back off for now, but the family hosting ignored the notes warning and went on without worrying about anything.

They continued planning the party with no fault causing a bit of worry from their servants. So rumor started that the family was going to be murdered but the family assured the guests that it was only some threatening note. But they were as unsure as the guests were about the note.

The family announced the start, signaling that the party was about to start, so everyone started their way down to the ball room. When everyone was inside the band started playing, making almost everyone choose their partner right off the start. But only a few stood by watching while enjoying the food.

Then all of a sudden a loud boom was heard from outside the palace making everyone stop everything. Everyone listened closer for another boom but nothing happened. It was silent for a whole minute before the door was kicked open by a member of the group. That member announced that he had come to claim the lives of everyone in this party.

After that speech everything clicked in our minds and then the frenzy started. Everyone started screaming and running to escape but everything was locked to prevent anyone sneaking away during the party.

Konrad grabbed my waist and told me to hold on, so I did and then I was moving at an incredible speed. He was holding onto me tightly as he ran to a safer spot than where I was originally at. He whispered into my ear saying that if anything bad is going to happen I should call out his name. I nodded my head and told him that if he died I would never forgive him. He smiled at me and kissed me on the cheek saying that he would never die.
