Chapter Two

"Why do I even need to go to this academy?" The time traveling girl walks around the corridor with her new headmistress Miss Avocet.

"So you can learn and interact with your kind." The headmistress says leading the girl to her new room for the time she'll learn. She opens the door and in the other bed is a girl around the same age as (Name). "Alma meet your new roommate."

"Well met. My name is Alma LeFay Bentham." The girl introduces herself going in front of the girl. "You can call me Alma."

"Hello, Alma. I'm (Name) (Last Name), nice to meet you." After she saw the girls talking splendidly with each other headmistress left with a smile on her face.

"You have two older brothers?"

"That's correct. They're in the other room." Alma says as the girls sit on Alma's bed.

That evening the time traveling girl met Alma's brother who were named Jack and Myron. Jack seem annoyed at her for some reason but she just brush it off and Myron was more charming than his little brother is.

The girls grew closer and closer everyday due the fact that they're roommates, they have the same age, and because (Name) took a liking on the short girl she created a habit where she always protects her from Jack's jealousy.

"Shut up, Jack." The (colour) eyed says throwing Jack a book after he tried dumping his sister a large amount of books when no one was looking.

"Just because you have time controlling peculiarity doesn't mean your higher than me!" The older boy says catching the book thrown towards him. The girl just rolls her eyes as she leads the short girl back to their room causing the boy to be annoyed from the lack of respond.

Upon arriving inside the house, Miss Avocet comes rushing to their aid frantically. "Are you alright, dears?" She checks the girls for any injury but seeing that there's non she let out a relieved sigh.

"I'm planning on going back to my parents, hopefully they'll accept me this time." Alma says that evening while she snuggle up on the girl's side.

"Do you want me to go with you?" (Name) asks knowing her family's situation looking up from the book she have been reading to the shorter girl who shakes her head declining her offer.

"It's okay. I can do this and you're planning on going back on your journey aren't you?" Alma was sadden when she told her about her plans but she knows she'll always come back whenever she wants.

"Yes. I'll visit my parents first before going back again."

"I bet they don't even want a girl like you in their life." Someone says from the door as it slowly opens revealing the boy who got pushed by carrying the book back where he took it and cleaning the corridors.

"That was dramatic." (Name) comments then turns back to her book reading it to the girl who's now laying on her lap. Jack clears his throat trying to catch their attention again but no avail they didn't even bag an eye on his direction.

Angrily he stomps out of the room like the child he is. One of their older sister peaks through the door after a moment just to find Alma who already asleep and (Name) who's trying to stay awake. The girl enters the room with a smile to move them to their respective beds.

"Come on (Name), you can go to sleep now." She removes the book from her hands, moves the sleeping Alma to her bed before fixing (Name) in a more comfortable position.

The day came when (Name) has to depart from the academy causing her friends especially her headmistress and Alma to weep. "You've finished your training. Miss Owl, I hope you have a safe trip and God bless you, my child.

"You too. Thank you for taking care of me." She goes to hug her headmistress that she considered a mother since she entered the place before moving on to her best friend sho hugs her tightly before the others joined in.

Turning into her owl form she soars across the sky after making sure no one's planning to hunt her down and so she went out of the tunnel as fast as she can. She arrives in her own timeline safely and she is glad that she went to that academy since before she couldn't turn into her bird form that long but now she feels like she can go all day as a bird.

She lands beside her home and looks around before turning into her human form since her parent or any other family member never know her ability. She casually opens the door seeing how she's returning back to her age before entering the academy. She's younger again.

(Name) heads to her room to chance her victorian clothes from the past which was made of excellent materials preventing it from rotting or turning into dust. She looks at her phone and luckily she still remembers her password.

"It's like time stopped when I was alway." (Name) chatted with her family that night at they were surprised about some changes they noticed about her but didn't question it. Then night came as the peculiar girl prepares herself to time travel once more with her maps of where the time loops are in her bag and lucky for her one of the time loop is hidden just a mountain from her.

She sneaks out and morphs into a bird before flying off to the direction 0f the time loop she first entered. February 18, 1976 was the date where the time loop led and after greeting back the residents who just saw her 4 days ago she left to find her best friend.

After asking the updated headmistress she learned that Alma now Peregrine has established a home for peculiar children on the small Welsh Island of Cairholm and she was also informed about Hollowgasts and Wrights causing to gasp in realization to why the August 19, 1940's loop has vanished.

Hearing about the peculiar children being eaten (Name) made up her mind, she'd also help the children and that means being a headmistress but she still looks too young for that so she decided to visit Alma Peregrine. Discreetly as possible she flies to the island where she'll be staying as an assistant to her old friend.
