Hi ms chan, if you are reading this, Happy Teacher's Day!!

Many many years ago: 🌄
"Dad, can I borrow this book pretty please 🥺?" 6-year-old me begged my Father holding a seemingly not-for-my-age Volcano book in my hands.

My Father sighed, looking at how many books we borrowed altogether. We had like what, ten books. Perhaps, little Ashley was more enthusiastic than the current Ashley...

"Last one of the day. No more borrowing for today..." my father finally relented.

He borrowed the books and we went home.

When I was young, I was easily fascinated by volcanoes and natural disasters that little did I know, Little me was spending hours at the library almost everyday that, my father gets frustrated when I constantly say "FIFTEEN MORE MINUTES PLEASEEEEE!"

2021:

Oh ya, that was like eight years ago. Once a volcano enthusiast and now a lazy person, I prepared for Geography sluggishly. What a long day...

I see Ms Wee walking in and wait... we have a second teacher.

"Ok girls. As I told you, we are going to have two Geog teachers. This is Ms Chan. Good morning class," Ms Wee announces before greeting us, together with Ms Chan.

Oh ya, I totally forgot. Ms Wee was going on a maternity leave soon! No wonder why we have two teachers in Geog and History!!!!!!! (Okieeeeeeee I Understood)🤦‍♀️

When we sat down, Ms Wee went to the back of the class while Ms Chan, our 'New?' Geography teacher started writing her name on the board.

"2-5, as Ms Wee said. Yes, I am Ms Chan," she introduced herself before we started on the first topic of the year: Sustainable Cities (urbanisation)

Despite our first day with Ms Chan, it went unexpectedly well. We joked and we laughed.
