Dear Diary,

2021:
Hey diary! Looks like I have started you on a fresh new book. Whew. Looks like it has been a year since I entered secondary school (Yes I'm sec 2 this year) and I love Secondary School more than primary school. My friends are just as crazy as me (and crazier than me) and the Teachers there are way nicer (and should I say, 'More Caring?') than back in primary school!

Secondary school is so fun that, I basically already have a favorite teacher and a favorite subject. (I shall not tell you now 🤫)

Like... look at how unique the uniform is!!! There's polka dots on the upper-half of the uniform. Like, isn't that cool? A uniform with patterns. Well, I came from a School where their uniform was a sailor type (yea, reminds myself of sailor moon but with a badge which has the school logo...), boring I'd say...

Oh yaaaaaaaa-

I just remembered.... Teacher's Day is coming in a few months. Oh wow, it's only March and it feels like we are speeding through time! But wait...

What am I gonna give to my Teachers though...? 🤔

I don't know... like there's just too many ideas but they seem simple. Ok so here are the ideas I had in my mind and yes yes, it looks trash...

Ashley's ideas for Teacher's Day gifts and comments/concerns:
-Red pens (everyone gives their Teachers that so nah...)
-Notebooks (but will they even use it, that's the question that is probably never answered unless you see it with them..)
-Tumblers (woah maybe a good idea but wait a minute... I already gave my primary school Teachers tumblers so, nah not giving the same thing the second time...)
-Food (what food allergies do they have??? Like What)
-Cards (like I said, everyone gives their Teachers that so, yea)
-A mini stuffed toy (will they even cuddle it to sleep anyways...)

Yess- so as you see... I have a creative brain in ideas but... Maybe not in budgeting.... When it comes to  Teacher's Day gifts, I try to go on this thing that I came up with called 'Budget Mode' which means, I try my best to get my Teachers something useful, meaningful and basically cheap (I don't think Teachers like things that are REALLY expensive so yea...)

Wait a minute....

I think I just came up with a "Really Brilliant" idea for this Teacher's Day!

Well guess what, a book- (and I meant THIS BOOK) (is this another nonsense that I just came up with or what...)

Yup. Just like how other people (basically my peers oh yes, and including my English teacher) think, it's just ridiculous, don't you think so?? Yea... looks like you might have guessed it right. My English is the worst among my 3 core subjects, which the other two subjects are my E. Math and Science (other than my Humanities). That I failed my first English test last year!

Well, Who would have thought that I would be spending my free time, writing or editing this book...? 🤷‍♀️

Although my spoken English seems to be normal, my 'Written' English (which basically includes my Vocabulary) is just a total piece of Trash. Because of my written English, I just get average marks for English (yup sorry Cher)

But.... let's just put my trash talk about my English aside and just get back to what I was talking about a while ago!

So yes, I'm writing a book for my teachers. A book of appreciation for my teachers. And who should I put as my first chapter...? I have sooooooo many teachers in my mind that I'm in a dilemma about who to write about first...

Ok well then... I will have to wreck my brain just to think who to write about first 😭.

Ok. I have a good plan. What if I started with my subject teachers, followed by my Form Teachers? Or the other way?

Oh wow, it's already past midnight, I gotta go to sleep! But, lucky thing that it is the school hols. Well, all I can do is to enjoy my one-week holiday before the stress starts coming in!!!
