It was early Spring, the morning was as harsh as the winter evening. Ushijima gape at his bed that felt enormous. It's been five years, and the whole house is getting colder by the day. Now that he has all the time to collect all his thoughts, he never felt more alone.

Remembering the dreadful Winter, Ushijima felt powerless recalling his lover in the hospital bed. He couldn't forget the other's exhausted appearance and unstable figure, cables stuck in his pale and skinny limbs. It was as if Tendou was fighting alone. Again.

Bottled outrage of his inadequacy of helping his lover and missing him, Ushijima began throwing all of his frustrations in his furniture. It was unlike him. He knew it wasn't like him. Ushijima Wakatoshi doesn't know how to give up, but at the moment, he felt himself finally abstaining. His heart palmitate only for Tendou Satori, the soul that becomes one with his. And some time ago, a part of himself was buried six feet.

Ushijima felt all the emotions he previously stifled. His hand subconsciously clenched the rope he bought someday ago. While brushing up his hair out of irritation, the male got a glimpse of the blue notebook underneath the bed. Out of curiosity, he slowly kneeled and obtained it. He never recalled using this; the male never even bought one of these brands before.

Recalling that his lover consumed his time writing back in their high school years, Ushijima flipped open the notebook and understood straight away that it was a diary. He couldn't help but smile. He never thought that Tendou was this innocent.

In the first entry, Tendou's thoughts were written down the moment both became friends. Ushijima sat on a couch in his living room, locking his office as he tried to find some decent light to read the first lines his high school lover wrote. His anger and frustrations subsided as soon as he read the first entry.

'The Autumn was surprisingly warm. I guess it was because of him. Ushijima's black hair with dark green strands seems to trap the forest, dark green orbs that held the darkness of the night while his tanned skin tamed the sun to love him was beautiful. Ushijima Wakatoshi is fascinating.'

Tendou still uses his family name instead of a nickname, calling him Ushijima and would be formal with him. The male couldn't help but laugh, remembering how his lover would gape at him and would shyly compliment him when their eyes made contact.

'I don't know how to fit in with everyone or get along with someone. I occasionally feel more alone when I'm in a group, but Ushijima made me feel like it's alright to belong. I don't want him to hate me. He was my first and only friend.'

These words in the second paragraph made Ushijima clench his fist. He recalled how Tendou was having trouble getting along with their peers. The other would sometimes act unusual from himself. He would try to fit in and be "normal." Nonetheless, the male constantly faces mockery and judgment because of his appearance.

Others didn't know how beautiful Tendou was. Ushijima was honestly relieved because he knew if they realized it, everyone would love him. He knew it was greedy of him to be possessive, and he will never forgive himself if he hurt the one so dear to him. However, Ushijima didn't want his lover to rely on others. He knew it was wrong, but he couldn't help it. He loves Tendou Satori so much.

Wakatoshi continued reading the diary. The male would occasionally laugh at some cliche sweet words he'll read. This journal is his lover's bare heart and mind, and he's holding it. Few hours have passed, he came across the hundredth entry; it was the time they both confess to each other.

'Spring is beautiful. I confessed to Ushi today. I was nervous. Even right now, I'm still shaking. I'm still shocked! He accepted my confession! He even told me he like me too! Can you believe that? I'm still in cloud nine. Please don't let this be a dream.'
