Chapter 10

It's been an hour since shopping. Surprisingly Leo is fun. I mean he is the future don or whatever of a mafia. He should be hard not fun. Well not that I am complaining.

We went to many stores. Bought many things for everyone. 

But I wanted to buy some surprise gift for others. Since I will be going back today I guess at least I could do this for them as a token for appreciation to keep me with them. 

"Leo I am going to Victoria's Secret. Anyone interested?"

"Uh...huh you go ahead. We will be here." Luca said.

"Fine by me."

I made my way in the direction where I saw the store but once I was sure none of my brothers are following me I made a right turn and entered another store.

After half an hour of roaming around I bought the perfect gifts for everyone. Even Amanda. She has been very sweet and cooperating. Paying it with my own card I made my way to certain someone who has been following me everywhere. 

"Hey! What's your name?"

"Uh...Max."

"So Max please do me a favor and take these to the car and keep them separately. Don't let anyone see and put them in my room as discreetly as possible."

"What?"

"Aren't you one of the bodyguards that came with us? Relax I saw Lorenzo signal you to follow me. Chill and do as I say please."

"O...k"

"Thanks buddy"

I texted my brothers to get to know their location. 

'Where are you?'

'Food court'

'Ok, I'll be there in few minutes.'

I went to Victoria's Secret purchased a few items and made my way to my brothers.

We were in the mall enjoying ourselves for another two hours.

"Ok that's it. I am tired and ready to head back. My gosh aren't you tired even a little bit?"

"Not at all sis. We have more strength than you and aren't girls all about shopping for hours non stop?" Luca asked.

"No brother, I am not one of them. Never in my dreams have I spent this much time in a mall. And I have a lot of strength, just want to save it for my dance."

"Sure sis, let's go." Lorenzo said.

While making my way out I saw an old lady standing on a stool trying to reach for a box on the shelf high above her height in a gift shop.

As I saw her feet slipping, I dropped my bags and ran towards the store. Quickly entering I caught the left hand of the lady and pushed her leg down to steady her. Successful in my job I asked her to step down and reached for the box she was trying to get myself.

"Here you go. Mam please accept my request and make a cabinet somewhere else so that you don't have to climb up every time to take out things like that. Do you know what would have happened if I would have not seen you slipping?" I scolded her.

She fondly patted my head. "You are just like my granddaughter. Usually she used to do this work but since she had to go back home for an emergency I tried to do it myself. Sorry my child and thank you for saving me."

"What about my suggestions?"

"We don't have enough money dear."

Giving it a thought I reached for my wallet and took out few dollars and handed it to the lady.
