Secrets (Baku x Deku)

Chap 4

(Deku POV)

I didn't need my alarm clock anymore. The twins would wake up at 5 every morning. Kacchan would make their milk while I changed and dressed them for the day. After we fed them we got washed and dressed. It went surprisingly smoothly, we played with them until my mum arrived which came way too soon for me. She practically shoved us out the door after we gave them another shower of kisses. I lay my head on Kacchans chest as we waited on the elevator, this was harder than I thought. How does Kacchan do this while he is working? As if he could read my mind he lifted my chin staring into my eyes.

"I know it's hard babe, but they are in good hands. The best thing to do is keep yourself busy and before you know it we will be right back here," he said as he kissed me softly making my heart race.

I took a deep breath and put on my best smile. I can do this. We headed straight for class even though we were early, I wanted to talk to Shota before everyone arrived.

Shota was sleeping at his desk when we arrived. I shook him awake and he looked up sleepily before realizing who it was.

"What's wrong? What happened? Did someone try hurting my precious babies?" he said as he activated his quirk looking about the room.

"No Shota, everything's fine," I said as Kacchan laughed next to me.

"I'm just nervous about being back," I say sheepishly.

I feel two sets of arms go around me, and my heart begins to slow. I smile a thanks letting out a loud sigh. We sit in our old seats. It seems like a lifetime ago that I sat here last.

(Uraraka POV)

I was just about to head into class when I heard Mr. Aizawa talking to someone. I peeked into class and froze as I heard Midoriya talk.

"No Shota, everything's fine. I'm just nervous about being back." Midoriya answered back to whatever Mr. Aizawa had said.

Wait, did Midoriya just call him by his first name? Then if I couldn't be more confused Bakugo and Mr. Aizawa hugged Midoriya. I need to tell the class. Now.

(Deku POV)

I started getting nervous glancing at my watch waiting for the rest of the class to arrive. Kacchan mouthed I love you from his seat, I flushed mouthing back I love you too. Just before the bell rang the whole class ran into the room out of breath. I laughed as they all took their seats. Shota was waiting at the front of the class for them to quiet down. I stared at Kacchan as I glanced at our classmates and he just gave a small shrug.

I was surprised at how quickly the morning went by as we all settled back into our school life and before I knew it it was already lunchtime. I really missed the twins and wanted to find someplace I could call my mum and see them. Luckily for me, Shota and Kacchan had already thought I'd be like this and we came up with an excuse that he would ask to talk to me at lunch and that would give me a bit of time to talk on the phone.

"You coming for lunch Deku?" Uraraka asked as I slowly started packing my books into my bag.

"Midoriya I need a word with you before you go to lunch?" Shota said loudly to the class.

"I'll meet you there ok," I told her as I headed up to the front of the class.

Shota and I walked in silence to the staff room, Kacchan was already there waiting for me. We went over to the far end and I video called my mum. After a few rings, she answered. She and Toshinori were sitting on my couch, with a twin each on their lap.

"Hi my beautiful babies, are you being good for Granny and Papa?" I calmed down the phone.

"Your Daddy's miss you two." Kacchan piped in beside me.

I could see a tear run down Kacchan's cheek in the small window of us as he stared at the twins. I grabbed his hand, this was so hard for the both of us. The twins smiled at us and put out their hands towards the phone. Hana stretched her tiny hand and managed to grab the phone out of my mum's hand, all we saw was the inside of her mouth as she slobbered over it. We began laughing as did my mum and Toshinori. When my mum finally prised her phone out of my daughter's grasp she took a photo and sent it to us.

"Love you Hana love you Haruto," I say blowing kisses at the screen.

"Daddy loves you both my angels." Kacchan coes blowing kisses at the phone.

We hung up the phone and I buried my head in Kacchans chest holding back the tears. There were only a few hours left of school then my precious babies will be back in my arms.

The rest of the day passed slowly as I thought of nothing but the twins. I could see Kacchan checking his watch for the hundredth time as he let out a groan realizing we still had half an hour left of school. Several of our classmates glanced at him, giving puzzled looks to each other, and I pretended not to notice them. I kept my eyes on my books after that as I could feel their gaze on me.

As soon as the bell rang I was crowded by Uraraka, Tsu Iida, and Shoto. I packed my bag trying to stay calm. All I wanted to do was leg it out of the room, but I knew that to keep our secret I was going to have to do what I would normally do and walk to the dorms with my friends. I followed them out of the class as they began chatting about their summer. It was strange listening to them talking about going to the mall and hanging out listening to music with each other. My summer was filled with diapers and sleepless nights but I wouldn't change a second of it.

"Did you do anything fun in the summer?" Tsu asked me.

"Yeah I spent it with my family, we had a few picnic's." I smiled back.

We finally arrived at the dorms and I looked about the common room for Kacchan but he wasn't there. Everyone sat down but I headed down the hall to the dorm they thought I was still living in saying I had work to catch up on.

A few minutes later I walked into the elevator that would take me home and to my surprise, Kacchan was inside waiting for me. I slid my arms around his waist and he held me as we traveled up.

We ran in the door and scooped up our baby's I lay them on their mat on the floor and we began to tickle their tummies. Suddenly Hana began to giggle as Kacchan ticked her. We looked at each other than at my mum and Toshinori. They smiled back at us. My mum started videoing us as we tickled the twins causing them to giggle together.

(Uraraka's POV)

I glanced around the room making sure Bakugo and Midoriya were not here before I began telling them about what Madoriya said about going on picnics with his family during the summer. There were a few puzzled glances mostly from Kaminari.

"Well, Midoriya told us he was with a relative and left his phone at home. Right. But then he said he was on a picnic with his family. But we went to his house in the summer and saw his mum there. So if she was with him at some point during the summer she would have given him his phone. So." I said trying to think where exactly I was taking this.

"So either he saw his mum but didn't get his phone back or he did but just didn't text or phone anyone. Or the family he had the picnic with didn't include his mother. Maybe he finally met his father and it was his family he was with." Shoto said flatly.

"I dunno guys it seems like we're missing something you know. Kirishima, Kaminari what did you do with Bakugo this summer."

"We never saw him, his mum said he was out each time we went over. Well, technically she said he's out taking care of business." Kaminary told us as he tried to unstick a sweet from his teeth.

I just stared at him and Mina slapped the back of his head for not telling us that before. We were going to have to step up our game if we wanted to know what they were hiding.

"You don't think Bakugo and Midoriya are dating in secret," Momo suggests

We all laugh, that's the most ridiculous thing we come up with yet. But when I think about it they've been way more comfortable around each other, add to the fact that Bakugo hugged him but that didn't explain why Aizawa would hug him.
