The Tomb of the Maverick Hunters

(Tomb Raider's point of view)

I glanced around the larges wooded area, There was nothing but trees, grass, flowers, and dirt. "Mya you sure this is the right place?" I asked as my dad's team looked around to find the tomb were X, Zero, and Axl laid to rest.

"I know I'm right, I've never been wrong in anything I've done when it comes to coding. However with all the years that they have been gone, it's hard to tell were the entrance is..." She explained. I took two steps forward only to trip. 

"Tomb! You alright?" Skya asked coming to my side. 

"Ya... I just tripped-" I looked at my foot to see a handle to something. "Over a... handle?..." Skya and I looked at each other before smiling.

"THAT'S IT!!" We both shout with joy. I got up as we began to clear around the handle to see that we were walking on the door to the tomb this whole time. Dad and the rest of the team came over to help clear off the whole door so we knew were not to stand when we open the door. Skya and the others all walked off of the door and waited for me to open it, but I had a different idea.

"Skya, why don't you open the door? After all, your the one who came up with this idea, and you're in charge of this project, so it's only fair that you're the one that opens the door." I said as I stood up. The rest of the team agreed. Skya slowly moved toward the door, when she twisted the handle there were several loud thunks of metal locks unlocking. A rush of wind flooded the dark musty tomb.  "Well... we found it... ALRIGHT LISTEN UP, START SETTING UP, SKYA, KAYA, HIGHA, MYA, DR.RIVER, DAD AND I ARE GONNA GO DOWN AND SEE WHAT WE HAVE TO WORK WITH, THE REST OF YOU GET THE TRUCKS UNLODED AND LET THE OTHERS IN THE CITY KNOW WE FOUND THE TOMB!!!" I ordered. Everyone shouted 'right' as they got to work, Dad grabbed some flashlights and handed one to Dr.River. 

"Tomb Raiders first." Skya said turning on the flashlight that was on her shoulder. 

"Funny, real comical Sky..." I said with a smile as I began to descend down the stairs. Moss, and vines ran through the old metal walls. in the distance you heard water running and dripping from the celling and walls, The moans of the winds in the damp halls kept the angels on edge.  there were no rodents around even with all the plant life there was, there was no sunlight, making hard to understand how the plants got any food.  Skya and I walked side by side, there were so many rooms with old armors and old tech that filled them. At the end of the long hall there was a closed door, Me and sky began to force the double doors to open, using her swords to pry them apart. This time no wind rushed past us, we slowly walked in to see three stasis pods leaning agents the walls to you left, right and the one in front of us. We slowly walk towards the blue pod in front us, Skya swiped away some of the dust on the pod to show the letter 'x' on it. 

I walked over to the pod to your right, this one was black with a red strip running down the center, when I cleared away some dust I shall the name 'Axl' I cleared the glass that was on the pod to see Axl's face, lifeless, cold, and dark. The pod on the opposed side of the room was red, but just as dusty.  Sky walked over to the red pod to see if there was a name on it.

"This one say's 'Zero' Meaning that's Axl right?" She asked gently. I nodded as the rest of my team came with lights and equipment. 

"Alright, let's get these pods unhooked and loaded on the trucks, any other artifacts can be categorized and loaded on the second truck. Mya, that screen behind X can you get it working?" Mya nodded as she worked on getting the screen up and running.
