America and Maxon After Life

Chapter 2

Americas P.O.V.

I woke up in a dark room. I got up and ran for the door but I fell down after I had tried to run to the door. Whats going on? Where am I? I study my surroundings carefully. I am in a dark room. There was a window letting in only a little bite of lighy. But ther were bars on the window. I keep studying my surrounds. I am in a small dark room. I relize that my feet are in chains. Oh great! I've been kidnapped. I hope Maxon is okay. Suddenly the door opens.

"Well your finally awake" the person who walked in said to me. I moved away slowly.

"Stay back! I'm warning you! I know how to fight!" I shout at the man.

The man only laughs.

"America....is that any way to talk to me?" The man asks moving closer to me. I see the red arm band. He's a Southern Rebel. The man removes his mask revealing his face. I am shocked to see who this rebel is.

"ASPEN! YOU'RE A SOUTHERN REBEL?!?!?!! HOW COULD YOU BETRAY ME LIKE THIS! WHAT DID I EVER DO TO YOU!? I scream in Aspens face.

Aspen just laughs. "I joined the Southern Rebels ever since you joined the selection. That  Maxon guy of yours? He made the hugest mistake when he married you. You wannna know why?"

I open my mouth to say something but he just cuts me off before I can say anything.

"Because he thinks he can have anything he wants. I know he's royalty and all. But he can't tae everything he wants. Espically you. You are mine. You always have been. And you alwas will be." Aspen laughs evily.

"No! I am not yours and I never will be! I am Maxon's and Maxon's only!'

Aspen just laughs again and leavs the room closing and locking the door behind him. Leaving me all alone. In a disgusting cell.

Aspens P.O.V.

Once America joined the selection I know she would never be mine. So thats when I joined the southern rebels. I know. I'm one of the royal guards. I can explain that. I have been working secretly with the rebels while I kepy my job as a guard. All those rebel attacks I helped the rebels in. Now all thats left is to Maxon and all the possible heirs to the throne of Illea and marry America. Finally get rid of the royal family. And create a new way to live. Without bring ruled by a king and queen, and no caste system. I will have fun putting this plan into action.

Maxons P.O.V.

After the rebel atack ended I ran around the palace looking for America. I couldn't find her. I started to panick. I found a note in the rubble of part of the destroyed palace. I picked it up and stared to rad it.

King Mazon,

We have America. If you want to see her again. Alive. You will do exactly as we say. First off you are to announce to the kingdome that your poor poor America has been killed during the rebel attack. If you fail to do so we will kill her right afte you make the announcement to Illea about the rebel attacl. Further instructions will be sent over time. Make the right decision KIng Maxon if you value poor America's life.

I should have known that Aspen was one of the rebels. No wonder he was so secretive. I pace around deciding on waht to do. Do I do as the rebels say? They won't kill America then. But will they stay true to their word if I do waht they say? Or should I not do as they say? Tell the country that America had been kidnapped and that Aspen is the leader of the southern rebels. Either way. America's life is at stake.

AN: I KNOW I DONT UPDATE MUCH. AND IM SORRY ABOUT THAT. I HAVE SCHOOL TO WORRY ABOUT AND I HAVE A LIFE BESIDES JUST WRITTING LOL. I HAD TIME TO UPDATE TODAY BECAUCSE I DONT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO SINCE ITS SNOWING WHERE I AM. I MIGHT UPDATE TOMORROW SINCE I HAVE NO SHCOOL BECAUSE OF THE SNOW. BUT I MIGHT NOT UPDATE THIS STORY TOMRROW BEACUSE I HAVE OTHER STORIES TO WORRY ABOUT AS WELL. THERE MIGHT BE A SORT UPDATE FOR THIS TOMRROW. I DONT KNOW RIGHT NOW.
