Now, this is one of my favorites and least favorites. For obvious reasons but let's start with why I love them.Ok so ron his whole life has been an underdog anything he has ever done was never an impressive enough because one of his brothers had already done it or because Ginny is the only girl when Molly was pregnant with Ron she wanted a girl so she was very disappointed when Ron was born and even though I don't think she needs to she definitely shows favoritism towards her other kids it is very obvious that her least favorite is ron and then there is harry [Now I love harry he is 1 of my favorite characters] but he's obviously the boy who lived so everybody else they put Ron in Harry shadow and molly also blatantly favors harry over ron even though Harry's never known love so he deserves to be loved on she should still not show favoritism she should love all of her kids and their friends that she's taking it as her own and love them all equally but that's a totally another topic for another day I kind of like the fact that Ron and Hermione end up together because Hermione see past all of Ron's flaws and she sees them and she loves him for them for the most part
But in my opinion, JK Rowling did not write this couple well she made it feel toxic or that it was not healthy
But for a lot of other reasons I don't like the relationship together and one of them is it's completely unrealistic like for instance how different Ron is in the books then in the movies and I feel that while the differences do attract and that can make for a good relationship it can also can make a relationship toxic just like if you're to similarity relationship can be toxic now the producer for the movies liked Harry and Hermione together so he made Ron seem more stupid and like a horrible friend gave me a lot of Ron dialogue what es me because in the books I love Ron yes there are some questionable moments but when is there or not he's a child just like Harry and Hermione make questionable decisions their children so it's expected so for a lot of my reasoning for certain ships I either love or hate them because of the book or movie so for the book I kind of sort of ship but for the movies I do not ship if that makes sense
So technically this is my main issue with Hermione and Ron
it makes me so upset that Hermione is never wrong in any argument Ron is always the one who has to when Hermione's favor back realistically speaking there are going to be times when Hermione's not right and Ronald is or there are going to be times when Ron is wrong and Hermione's right the whole thing is just super unrealistic and they pin her to be perfect deep in her to be completely perfect in the movies and then they poop in her to be perfect with physical flaws in the Books
Look at all of their plot-driven moments:
Called her a nightmare? Ron's fault. Hermione snapped at him! Big deal!
Crookshanks VS Scabbers thing? Both of them were being immature, but it's still treated as Ron being the bad guy, and Hermione the victim. Come and they were just being children and they were both being very immature but it was brushed over as Ron being immature and being the bad guy while Hermione is the victim
Yule Ball? Ron's fault. Not debatable.
The HBP drama? Ron's fault. Technically, the revenge dating was wrong, but since Ron's the instigator, it's still mostly Ron's fault.
Leaving her in DH? Ron's fault.
It's always Ron's fault.
It's always Ron who has to “win” her back. It's always Ron who has to accept his mistakes. It's always Hermione who has to forgive him. The times when Hermione hurts him are background noise. And it's annoying! so hard. How can Romione shippers say that Romione is both Ron and Hermione making mistakes, hurting the other, and having to grow past their mistakes? How can anyone say that when it's only Ron doing that in canon? And to hell with anyone who sees this as Hermione bashing when people are rightfully condemning the biased way this relationship is written.
