Our stories today have changed and have been retold from generations to generations. While some are never spoken ever again, the rest are trashed and left discarded in pieces. From Mythology to modern folktales, people always have something to tell. Even if it is told wrong.

A long time ago, before lands have been parted by Yami and Eury, the two gods and goddess were at peace. Eury was a beautiful Goddess who created the world and all creations. Some say her emerald eyes can bright the darkest of nights. Yami was a slender yet tall man. His black hair and crimson eyes reminded nightmares. They grow up together like siblings did. Of course, they were not really related. They had worked together for an exceedingly long time. One day Eury had made time to ask Yami an important question. Mostly because she was concerned about the humans. "What if we balanced our powers?" she asked, "Then we wouldn't have to go one side between us. It would be fair for this world." Yami voice overtook hers "I do not want to stand below than those humans. They should have never been here in the first place." His stance was over her as he turned, "Your love for these humans are disgusting." His dark skin blemished from the sun's rays as his eyes were filled with annoyance. "There is nothing for us here. Nothing for me that is." Eury eyes sadden as she felt wrong having the spotlight. Being the light and guidance for humans and all what it is, she had never thought of how Yami had felt inside. She did not want to discourage his decent work and time. "I will give you the night hours. You will work only at night, when the humans sleep, and animals go to seek their homes." She told the God. "Where you can let the pictures in your mind breathe and run freely for the time being, but never around the living beings." Yami's eyes furrow a bit. He agreed with the idea of having the night become his but not the idea of having to stay away from humans. "This is foolish of you, my dear Eury."

Moons have passed since the two come to an agreement to follow Eury's plan. The day belonged to her as the night was for him. Till one night, Yami had sat upon his rocks looking down at the valleys and homes of the many living organisms. There was nothing fun for him to do. They all slept as logs. Yami was irritated and cheated. "This is no Gods work. This is laziness." He stated to himself angrily, "I should have more command." His growing rage inside his veins burned his skin. Crawling deep inside him. The monsters he had created arose from the depths.

Eury had a strange feeling, not sure of it being because of her dreams. Yet her vision foretold flames. With a heartache feeling she hurried herself down to see the land she was protecting during the daylight. Once she had arrived her heart sank to pure depression. The green grass had been ruined and so were the once houses of humans. Disbelieved, the Goddess shed her tears. "What had happened?" She cried. Her tears brought clouds to rain washing out the dim flames that caused destruction. Eury sunk down to touch what was once the soft beautiful green grass. Yami had walked up to her from behind, shaking his head. "It's such a shame. A fire breaking out and no one stopping it. Humans are pathetic." Eury let the soil trickle from her hands before standing before him. "This is your fault! You are a monster for this!" Yami felt a bit shocked, "A monster? What could I have possibly done? You told me to watch over them and play with my creations elsewhere and away from them." He husked glaring at her, "you never told me to protect them." Eury scoffed as she was nothing but disgusted by his words. "I wish you never to come back here nor to speak to me."

With that very statement of warning, Yami had been cursed. His body forcing to become close and curl up. His painful screams as his skin felt like it was burning. A sphere appeared shielding his body and seeming to erode his body quickly. His screams were demonic. Eury had cast him down underneath the grounds. Her brother was no more to him, for his foolish and selfish desire. She knew she would have to build everything back up from scratch. Things better and safe for humans and mammals. She knew she would have to try and work in the nighttime. Taking control is what she needed. And that was to begin to start anew.
