'Tasha and Kelly get safely to the helicarrier. Kelly stays with Banner, quietly keeping an eye on him, while 'Tasha goes to meet Steve Rogers and Agent Coulson.

"How long have you been with them? SHIELD, I mean."

"Since 'Tasha got recruited." Kelly answers, searching the helicarrier for an escape to this conversation.

It comes in the form of Steve Rogers. "Dr. Banner." Steve walks up to Banner and shakes his hand.

"Oh, yeah. Hi. They told me you'd be coming."

"Word is you can find the cube."

"Is that the only word on me?"

"Only word I care about."

Banner seems to think over the sentiment. "It must be strange for you, all of this."

"Well, this is actually kind of familiar."

Kelly speaks out, "gentlemen, you may wanna step inside in a minute. It's gonna get a little hard to breathe."

Suddenly, the helicarrier starts shaking as it prepares to fly.

"Is this is a submarine?"

Kelly looks up at the heavens, unimpressed by Steve Rogers. Maybe it'll be easier once they actually start to work together.

"Really? They want me in a submerged pressurized metal container?" Banner asks as they both move closer to the edge of the helicarrier. Steve watches in awe as Banner smiles. "Oh, no. This is much worse."

Kelly breathes out an exasperated breath, her leg giving her trouble again. "I told you to wear your uniform more often." 'Tasha says to Kelly, who gives her a glare.

"It's not my fault I thought I wouldn't get in any trouble fifty feet beneath the earth, 'Tasha." She slurs out, her throat hurting with the way the air is slowly being taken from her lungs.

'Tasha helps her onto the bridge, Kelly's slight limps most likely going to be noticed by Fury.

"Agent Romanoff." Fury barks out, and both Kelly and Natasha turn around, causing Fury to let out an angry breath. "Agent Kelly,"

Kelly nods, moving away from 'Tasha so she could make her way over to Fury. "Yes sir?"

"You shouldn't be out of bed. Go get some rest." He speaks, his grumpy tone still not gone.

"I'd rather stay, sir. If that's okay with you."

"It's not. Go." His voice leaves no room for argument, causing her to let out a huff of breath.

"But, sir-"

"No, Agent. Go." He turns to say something to Agent Hill, and she knows it's an out.

Her eyebrows furrow, anger full in her stance. She limps over to 'Tasha, pecking a small kiss to her cheek. "Fury told me to go rest."

And she leaves without another word to Banner, Rogers and 'Tasha.

Kelly gets to her bunks, and instantly hates everything. "Tony, what are you doing in my room?" She questions wearily.

Thing is, her and Tony Stark used to have a 'thing'. But it all went downhill when he found out Natasha was a SHIELD spy.

"Huh? Oh, oops. Is this your room? I was just looking for Fury, actually."

Kelly sends him a glare. "My room has 'Agent Kelly Romanoff' outside. How did you expect to find Fury in here?"

"Maybe I was hoping he was bunking with you?" Tony asks, pulling a vinyl record out of Kelly's luggage.

"Stop playing with my stuff," she grumbles out, falling face first onto her bed.

"Did you have a long day?"

"Yeah. 'Tasha and I went to go pick up Doctor Banner." She admits, throwing her arm over the back of her head.

"Kelly. Your leg is bleeding."

She's instantly sitting up, groaning into her sleeve. "дерьмо . что болит ."

Tony looks down at her, unimpressed. "What?"

"I slip into Russian when things turn for the worst." Kelly says, as if Tony didn't already know.

"Right," he replies, lifting her leg onto his thigh so he could look at it. She had shorts on, so he could easily rip the bandage open to search it. "Do you have alcohol anywhere? And stitches?"

Kelly lifts an eyebrow. "When'd you become so caring, Stark?" But she reaches for the alcohol and stitches in the drawer near her bed.

"Me? Caring? Never." Tony smirks down at her before pressing the alcohol-laden cloth on her leg. She hisses, turning her head into the pillow.

"Черт , Тони ." She says angrily.

"I still haven't become an expert in Russian, Kells."

"I'm swearing at you. Better?"

"Much," Tony answers, grabbing the stitches from her fingers where they're digging into her palm. "But maybe next time, you should wear your uniform, yeah?"

She grunts in reply. "Maybe I will." Tony nods, finally digging the stitch into her leg, causing her to let out a small groan. "Damnit, that hurts. Jesus Christ."

He shrugs. "Wear your uniform next time."

In a few minutes, her stitches are intact, and she's sweating with the laborious effort of not screaming.

Tony finishes it up with wrapping the bandage around it again. "Be careful. Do you need sedatives?"

She yawns quietly. "No. Thank you," Kelly falls asleep quickly after hearing the door to her room open and close.

дерьмо . что болит . - Shit. That hurts.

Черт , Тони . - Damnit, Tony.
