"Tikki, spots off." Marinette whispers, red faced, after returning to her bedroom. "I should have stayed focused on the mission." She begins to pace, now we are not going to work as a team. She doesn't say that aloud, because if she does it would be like sealing her fate. "He doesn't love me anymore, Tikki I am an idiot." She lays face down on the pink futon, screaming. Her saliva wetting the pink pillow.

"You never let him express his feelings Marinette." Tikki reminds her, eating her cookie. Like always, Tikki was right. Tikki was always right. Marinette's head remains in her pillow, no trace of Adrien in her mind. All she could think about was how Chat Noir coughed after she said that. Like how in movies when the whole room goes silent and there is just that one guy that needs to randomly cough.

"I was afraid, okay Tikki?" Marinette fires, standing up... a bit irritated, not with Tikki, but herself. Tikki of course, took it a bit personally and left Marinette alone. Hurting Tikki made Marinette more upset, the girl turns back around, laying face first into her pillow. Marinette sat there in though, replaying thee moment in her head, debating what she could have done differently. "I can't believe I did that.." she continued to whisper aloud. Marinette was even more surprised because it was her first time even trying to tell the boy she loved him and she did it on the first try, unlike Adrien. She has tried so many times to tell him, she can just never get the word across.

"Marinette." It was Tikki, she said her name cautiously. Marinette looked up from her tear stained futon decor pillow. Honestly, Marinette was started by Tikki's presence. The girl could tell Tikki was upset, but she would be fine... after all she had been alive for thousands of years. "Go get some fresh air on your balcony, it would be good for you." Tikki requests. All Marinette could manage was a nod, fearing if she were to say anything... the slightest crack in her voice would cause her to break down. She sat up, turning from her comfortable position on the futon. She placed her feet in the floor to be surprised by a certain shakiness in the legs. She only left like this when she told Adrien she liked him. Now she was really startled. She liked Chat that much... so much he could just size up Adrien in a day. Continuing in thought Marinette made her way to the ladder. Tikki stayed behind, figuring the teenager needed her time alone.

The boy thought long and hard as he batoned (we are pretending that's a thing, okay?) across the city, in search of comfort. He knew where he would find it. He had found his eyes tracing to Marinette's empty balcony as he whisked through the city, in attempt to get tonight off his mind. He debated going to knock on the trapdoor but he decided against it, it was late and she was probably asleep. Soon enough though, fairy lights light up the once dark balcony. He felt guilty as he got closer. Why would he feel guilty? He landed with a "Hello, Purrincess." He heard a sniffle.

"Hello Chaton." Marinette whimpered, bringing her hands to her face to attempt to hide her tears. (unsuccessfully, because what kind of scene would it be if it was successful) Her legs were crossed as she examined the night beyond her.

"Marinette... what's wrong?" The boy questions moving toward the girl, turning her around and bringing his hands to hers... an attempt to comfort her, although it comforted him too. His heart raced rapidly. Was he supposed to feel like this around a friend?

"Nothing." Marinette simply says, emotion wiping from her eyes. Except for concern, concern was definitely there. "You came here for a reason, what is it?" The bluenette asks, she was sincere. Sure she wanted to break down to Chat Noir... but unless she revealed her identity it would all be a lie and she would be running for nothing.

"Well..." the heroine begins, letting go of Marinette's hand and walking towards the guard rail, that Marinette had been standing at moments earlier.  "Today, M'lady told me she loved me." He started, facing the sky. Marinette's heart raced, was he about to reject her without knowing?

"Isn't that a good thing?" She asked nervously. She fidgeted with her fingers. Everything tingled. Her heart beat at rapid speeds.

"It is.. it is great. I love her too, but-" he turns to her but a sudden crash in the distance interrupts his attention to her and he turns back to look out yonder. "I better go check that out, I'll be back later purrincess!" She let him kiss her hand before he exited. What if Chat Noir was in love with Marinette? No... that would be ridiculous. He couldn't fall for her twice. Looking back at Chat Noir shrink in the distance, she could sense his fear. The girl made her way to her trapdoor, ready to retrieve Tikki.

"Tikki.." she begins, wanting to first apologize for earlier. There was no response. Marinette examined the empty room before her. "Tikki?!" Marinette yelps, her heart rate flew through the roof. She scrambled to everywhere she would normally find the spotted creature. Where was her kwami? That wasn't all that was stressing her though. If that was an akuma, that means that Chat Noir is going to find the revealed window without her. "Tikki.." Marinette called again, hoping got the kwami to appear to her side, she didn't. Marinette rushed back out the trapdoor, hoping there was time to stop Chat Noir. Alas, there wasn't. The miracle box calls to her from the pink doll house it hides in. She had no choice. Retrieving the miraculous of the fox, she would appear to Chat Noir as Ladybug. She would turn herself into the illusion, as long as no one touched her she would remain that way.

"I don't know how I feel about this, Marinette." Trixx whines, appearing from the jewelry shaped like a fox tail.

"I need to protect Chat Noir, and if he touches me then I will tell him Tikki is missing." Marinette decides. "Trixx, let's pounce!" Marinette commands, allowing an orange spandex to spread across her skin. Her costume was almost identical to Alya's, her hair now in a ponytail with a long streak. She decided on the name of Foxinette. It sounded like Marinette but the name was for her and her only so it did not matter.  She felt for the flute, making sure all of her equipment was with her. She looked down at the necklace, it truly was the necklace of lies. It explained Lila's passion towards it... but also Alya's. To become a really good reporter, it requires people to set up a lille illiounary towards the audience. Foxinette face-palms as she remembers her purposed. "Time to find Chat Noir." The girls remarks before jumping out and into the early night.
