Silence

Only a very loud silence

Until..

''Soooo.. your name was Sabine Cheng?'' Marinette said trying to break the awkward silence. But no. They all just stared at her like she was a lunatic. Her friends included.

''Okay I need an explanation on your ladybug shenanigans and I guess you want your mother to explain her side. So let's sit down and have a peaceful chat.'' Her father said. Being the one to snap out of the silence first.

Soon the family of 3 plus 3 strays and a goddess who was floating with her arms crossed  were  seated and staring intently at each other while drinking some tea Sabine was looking awfully calm. ''Sooo, who's going first?'' the younger bluenette asked. Her father's eyes bore into her.

''Okkk then, I guess I'm starting.'' she continued, laughing nervously. She gulped and explained everything with Tikki butting in a few times. 

When she was done, she looked at her mother just as calmly as her mother was looking at her. Not gonna lie though, they looked freakishly alike. ''Mother dear, I would also like an explanation.'' Mari said-no. More like demanded in a sickeningly sweet voice. The former assassin grinned deviously at how similar she and her daughter were before clearing her throat to begin. 

''When I was young, probably 2, my father and I moved to an island called Nanda Parbat in Tibet. There, I met Thalia Ah Ghul, who was about the same age as me. It was later that I found out we were in the League Of Assassins and Thalia's father, Ra Ah Ghul, was the leader. We were trained hard and I was Lady Krishna. Basically what Tikki said. I became a miraculous holder when I ran away after some time. I retired when we defeated hawkmoth and met your dad. And the story goes on.'' she finished calmly. 

''Now, let's talk about this trip~'' she continued with a dangerous grin an a shadow oh her face.
