"episode thirteen - risky business"
BAILEY, MO, MISCHIEF AND I WERE WATCHING THIS TALK THAT WAS HAPPENING IN TOWN. It was about the 'young entrepreneur of the year'. The Guy finishes his speech as we give him a round of applause and some even run forward for autographs and selfies.
"Come on let's go" I encourage.
"No I can't"
"First rule of business is to get yourself noticed" Mo helps me "How are you going to do that standing in a crowd?"
We collectively push Bailey towards the man. "Hi" He awkwardly begins a Conversation.
"Hello. Can I help you with something?"
"What you said up there meant a lot to him and I" I nod my head towards Bailey "We run a pet-sitting business."
"Sounds interesting"
"Yeah," Bailey takes over "We started off walking dogs. Now we take on any pet that people need help looking after"
"A lot of people look after pets, but what's your USP?"
"Come again?" "His what?"
"USP. Unique selling point" Mo whispers over to us.
"Oh yeah of course" Bailey nods "We haven't worked that bit out yet"
"I take it you're going to enter Young Entrepreneur of the Year?"
"Oh yea, yeah, they are, they are, yeah" Mo answers.
"Good luck" The man walks away.
I tighten my grip on Mischiefs lead. "Well could of gone worse I suppose"
We pause for a second as Mischief interacts with the dog almost identical to himself.
"Imagine what we could do with a grand, Mo, Lana" Bailey starts a conversation.
"Me?" Mo questions
"Well, yeah, we'll need a business partner and you too have helped us up big time with our leaflets and stuff"
Our conversation was cut short when we see Mischiefs lookalikes owner being harassed by 3 males.
"Just leave me alone alright?" I hear her ask. Immediately passing the lead to Mo I run over.
"Hey!" I get all the attention "What are you doing? She asked for you to leave her alone"
"What are you going to do about it pretty girl?" One one them looks me up and down creepily.
"Oi! Stay away from my girlfriend!" I hear Bailey yell as he also runs over "Just do one, before I set my dog on you"
The men run off after the threat of Mischief and I turn to the girl "Are you okay?"
