*KRING-KRING!!!*
Ah, the sound of the alarm clock.
“I missed you too, buddy!” I said as I turned the alarm off.
I made my bathroom rituals, took me 25 minutes before I got out from the bathroom. Sprayed D&G Light Blue perfume to myself and I went to get my jewelry box. Just as I was about to open it—
*KNOCK-KNOCK-KNOCK*
Somebody knocked which made me drop it. Buti na lang pala pinalagyan ko ng carpet itong kwarto ko at baka nabasag na yung jewelry box ko.
“Anne, handa na ang pagkain sa round table…” si Yaya Trina pala.
“Opo… I'll be there in a moment!” sagot ko naman. Hala, nagkalat mga accessories ko!
Pinulot ko na yung mga nalaglag at panay pasok na lang dun sa jewelry box, mamaya pag-uwi ko na lang siya aayusin.
“Hmm… haven’t seen you for quite some time now.” I picked up the bracelet that was the only piece of jewelry left lying on the floor.
Pinulot ko yung bracelet at tinitigan ito. I think the bracelet was pretty so I wore it. But then tinigan ko uli ito nung nakasuot na sa akin. Somehow, I felt like it’s supposed to make me… remember something that was long forgotten.
I shrugged it off and went downstairs. Kumain ng breakfast at hinatid na sa school. Sa totoo lang, pwede ako maglakad kasi konti lang naman ang lalakarin at exercise yun no'! Kaso ayaw ng parents ko at delikado daw.
Pagdating ko sa school halos wala pang maxiadong tao dun. Extra-early ba ako? I checked my wrist…
Ooops, I forgot. Instead of my wristwatch, I wore a bracelet today! Hinanap ko muna kung nasaan yung classroom ko. Mahirap na at baka siksikan mamaya dun sa announcement board. Alam niyo naman.. pasukan eh! After that, I walked towards the Science Garden which was a little far from my classroom. Habang papunta ako dun the closed-circuit TVs were still off. Usually, that’s where they put all the announcements, rankings, special events, school’s on-camera news team (etc.) I sat on the bench nearby, I like it here. It’s calm and serene, you can relax and enjoy the peace and silence. Mga after 15 minutes, dumami na yung mga tao at pumunta na 'rin ako sa room namin.
Naupo na ako dun tapos ko-konti lang naman bumati sa akin, Hindi naman kasi ako... social butterfly. I mean, I pick my friends or who I can trust, rather. Hindi naman sa mataray or maldita ako pero mabuti na yung nag i-ingat diba? Yung mga classmate ko, they're just acquaintances but not exactly... friends. :)))
Pero sa totoo lang, sanay na akong ganito. For as long as I can remember, I’ve always remained invisible rin naman sa kanila and I’m good at that. Naramdaman kong nag vibrate yung phone ko sa pocket ko.
