Chapter 12

I wake up and look over and see Four. What's he doing here he should be in Zeke's room where ever that is.

" Hey what are you doing here shouldn't you be with Zeke?" I ask him kind of confused to see him.

" Oh your awake that's great! Anyway Zeke woke up an hour ago so I came her to sit with you."

" Why does Uriah want to know what's going on with me without being with me what so ever? "

" No, no I'm here because I care about you your like the sister I never had. I wanted to make sure you were OK." Oh that's so sweet but where is everyone else.

" The gang is all over the place. No one knows were Shauna and Uriah went after what happened. No one knows were Marlean went since she left with Uriah before you got to school. The rest of the gang is with Zeke in his room but said they'd be up her as soon as possible." Four tells me reading my mind.

I try to get up but my head hurts to much so I lay back down. " Hey don't get up you were hit really hard. Zeke and you won't be able to see each other for a little while though."

" Why can't I see Zeke what happened?" I ask starting to get worried.

" Nothing happened he just was put on bed rest because Uriah hit him a lot and really hard. You are also put on bed rest for an hour because of your head." He in forms me.

TIME LAPSE TIME LAPSE

I can get out of bed and go home, Christina brought me some clothes to change into. Obviously the shirt was really low cut and revealing. I sign myself out and the first thing I do is ask were Zeke's room is. They said he checked out about five minutes ago. I go outside to my car and see Uriah there. Oh joy! I thought sarcastically.

I walk over to my car and unlock it I get in and see Uriah got in the passengers seat. Its a quite ride until I pull up to his house. " This is your house right?" I ask and he just nods. " Then get out." I say kinda rudely.

" Tris can we talk about what happened today and yesterday?" He asks me.

" I'm really angry at you right now Uriah can we just...... can you just get out of my car and we'll talk later after I calm down, and I don't want to punch you in the face." I say sternly and then he gets out of the car. I drive up to my house when I get there I see Zeke sitting on my lawn with his head down.

I run up to him and he looks up and I gasp. I take his face in my hands and he winced. He has bruises, a black eye, a busted lip. He looks terrible. " Zeke are you OK because no offense but you look really bad." I ask unsure of him.

" I'm OK I guess. Are you OK I know Shauna can hit really hard?" He asks looking really concerned.

" Zekey I'm fine its just I don't understand. I mean Uriah got me so angry at the roller rink yesterday and he knows that. Then this morning he was cheating on me with Marlean. So I don't know why he would get angry with us kissing?" I'm so confused.

" Hey woh woh woh we never said he was cheating on you this morning for all we know they were just talking. But you know I really wish that kiss lasted longer. The thing is we didn't get much of a kiss we were pulled apart so quickly so do you........ maybe think...... that we could......" I interrupt him by gently grabbing his face and we kiss again. Its a nice soft kiss. It starts going on for really long so we both pull away.

" Tris I'm sorry but I still love Shauna and I wouldn't do that to my brother, I'm sorry."

" No its OK I understand, I still love Uriah but I'm just angry at him for beating you up. Also for what happened at the roller rink yesterday. I'll text him later about it." I tell Zeke. He says OK and he drives home because he has his car.

I'm in my room reading my favorite book THE SPECTACULAR NOW BY TIM THARP. ( Real book ) When I get a text from Zeke hmm I wonder what its about. I finish the page and then decide to open the text it says : TRIS GET OVER HERE AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE ITS URIAH. - Zekey

Once I read this I grab my keys, hop in my car and drive as fast as I can to there house. When I get there I don't bother knocking I just walk in and run up to Uriah's room.

" What is it, were is Uriah? " I ask really concerned.

" He's in the bathroom and won't come out and I'm worried. He won't open the door and its locked I can't get in." Zeke answers quickly.

I run downstairs and grab a fire poker thingy and run back up stairs. When I get there I put this between the door and the frame. I look at Zeke like your mom is not going to be happy about this. I push on the poker and the door pops open. When the door is finally open there he is surrounded by his own blood. Its my Uriah.

" We have to get him to the hospital now!". I scream at Zeke he calls the ambulance and they take Uriah away. Me and Zeke get in Zeke's car and drive to the hospital. While Zeke drives I text the gang:

Guys get to the hospital its Uriah hurry! - Tris

Be there in five. - Marlean

Be there as quickly as possible. - Shauna

Be there soon. - Will ,Christina

We finally get to the hospital and ask which room Uri is in, they say room 68. I run there and I see Uri, my love he looks so pale. I look at the charts to see if I can see what caused him to bleed so much. What I see terrifies me and makes me think maybe its my fault. I look down and see these worlds......
