Divergent high: A uris story.

Chapter 3

When we get back to school all of our friends are by our lockers waiting for us. When we finally get to the lockers all of our friends hug me.

" Trissy I'm so sorry I didn't know." I knew Chris was going to say that.

" Chrissy its fine its not that big of a deal, oh and never call me that again." They are all starring at me like they want to know more about it. Im going to tell them, I think I can trust them now. " Okay, so let's talk about this somewhere else let's skip the rest of school okay?"

" Okay." Everyone says in unison, which is kinda creepy. So we all go to our lockers and get our stuff. We then walk to the lake to talk.

" Okay so my father has beaten me since I was eleven. So about five or six years know. He beats me with his belt and he whips me on my back. Sometimes when he is having really bad days he will hit and kick me." I look up at everyone and all of the girls are crying. I turn around and lift up my shirt and hear tons of gasps. I turn back around and see all the girls have wiped there tears away.

" Tris did he kick you in your ribs the other day?" Uriah's the only one who noticed my bruised ribs. I shake my head yes. " Tris you can't keep going through this, you have to do something about this."

" No hes away on business a lot so it only happens once in a while, I can handle it I have for a while. Okay I hate all this sadness so let's do something fun. Ooh we could go play laser tag, or we could go roller skating. "

" Ooh let's play laser tag at that new place down the street." Uri says.

" Yah!" Everyone says in unison that is really getting annoying. We all walk back to the school to get our cars. Me and Uri walk in the back.

" Hey Tris I love your shirt." I look up at him in disbelief. " Its my favorite word of all time then people stopped using it. I thought I was the only one who still used it."

" That's exactly how I feel I didn't know anyone still used it but me. Now I know we were ment for each other." At that point we had stopped walking. I turn to him and then we lean in and start to kiss then we hear a bunch of whistles and laughs. I turn and see all of our friends starring at us.

" Oh shut up and keep walking. You pansycakes!" Uriah shouts at them they all turn around and I stare up at him.

" Hey maybe pansycake will be our always."

" You watch movies to much." He laughs and then kisses me we walk over to my car and see Zeke, Four, Will and Lynn.

" Um there is only three open seats in my car so Lynn you are going to have to sit on one of there laps." She ends up sitting on Fours lap which was funny as hell. We finally get to the laser tag place and were getting out of the car when Uriah grabs my wrist and pulls me back into the car. " What do you want uri?" The rest of the group are waiting outside the laser tag place for us. He pulls my face towards him and we start yo kiss. He tries to deepen it when I decide to tease him and I pull away and get out of my car. Obviously the gang saw and when I start walking towards them. They all shout well the guys do. They go ooohhhh to mock Uri. Which makes me laugh.

We go into the laser tag place and get in area to play. We decide to play girls against guys. Christina, Will, and Lynn all get shot straight away. Then Zeke shoots Marlean and shuana shoots him. Then shuana gets shot by four shit its me against the two of them. I peek out from behind a crate and see Four wide open so I shoot and his light goes off. I can hear him cursing. Now its just me and Uri. But I can't find him I turn around and see him standing there in front of me. He's pointing the laser gun at me and he steps closer to me and leans down and we kiss, this is payback for what happened in the car. He tries to deepen the kiss, and while we are kissing I pull my laser gun up to his chest and shoot him. His light goes off and all of our friends on the side lines laugh he looks down and sees his light going off. Then the girls come over and pull from Uri and they hug me and give me high fives. The guys go over to Uriah and slap him on on the back and talk about how he messed up on that one, and how he should of kissed me after he shot me and stuff like that.

We say are goodbyes and I drive the guys and Lynn home, of course I drop Uri and Zeke off last. Zeke gets out and goes up to the house to unlock the door. I wave to Zeke when Uri turns my head towards him. He kisses me and this time I try to deepen it, then he pulls away and gets out of my car. As he walks away he says " Payback for earlier both times." He says this without even turning around. I drive home and my dads car is gone oh thank god this really is the best day ever I go to my bedroom and fall asleep.
