(Kayla's POV)

The rest of the ride was silent. I could feel the tension between the three of us. After a while, I had gotten my magazine back out and read the whole thing before the car pulled up to a stone building. I rolled my magazine up, stuffing it into my purse, and opening the door of the car. I stepped out of it to see that Agent Jay and Kay are already at the front door. I shut the door, and jogged up to the door.

We entered the building. There was a small corridor, with a giant fan on one side, and a vent on the other. A man dressed in navy blue suit was sitting by the vent in a chair, reading a magazine. He didn't glance up as the three of us walked into a elevator. The machine went down, opening up to a large room.

The room was filled with people dressed in suits and strange beings. There were different kinds of beings like three, kind of bird-like creatures by what looks like a lane of desks similar to DMV licenseing desks.

Jay and Kay stepped forward onto another platform. I did the same, looking around at the people below. The platform started to go down. I held onto the rail in front of me. I tried not to smile to big, but I couldn't control it. As the semi-circular platform reached the ground, Kay opens the gate, stepping out. Jay and I follow.

I watch all the people as I follow the agents. After a few minutes, I find myself standing alone, just watching as regular and extra-terestreal people walk around. I blink my eyes a few times.

I look around, trying to find the two agents I had to original follow. I bit my lip. I pull my plain yellow shirt down. I look around once more. I look up at a white, egg-shaped office where I see Jay and Kay and another man starring down at me.

"What's your name?" The other agent asked. His voice was deep, making him a little more creepy.

"What's yours? Agent Kawaii?" I raise my eyebrow and cross my arms.

The agent looks over at Kay. Kay lightly shrug, letting out a small sigh. The agent looks back at me. I groan. "Kayla E.K. Brown."

"What's the 'E.K' stand for?" Jay asked me.

"Elizabeth Kevin. My mother said she couldn't decide what my middle name should be, so she picked her name and my father's."

"Do you know your father?" Kay asked me.

I shook my head. "All my mom told me is he's apart of the army and the goverment. Does that count?"

"What part of the government?" The other agents askes again.

"She said CIA." I answer again. "Are we done? This feels like a interigation." The agents look at each other. "But, if you wanna ask more questions, one of y'all gotta take me out to eat. And pay, cause all I have is about six dollars."

"No, I am single. Can you ask something else?" Me and Jay were in a small diner. We just sat down when he asked me was I single. He asked me that two other times: once when we started to leave his headquaters, and another time when we were in his car.

"Okay, okay." Jay smirked as we sat down at a table.

"Hey Kay!" My friend, Harry, said as he got up from he's table, walking over to us.

"Hey H!" Harry and I knuckle bump each other.

"I'm guessin' you two know each other?" Jay pointed at me and Harry.

Harry pulled up a chair to our table at the edge of the table, at my right, and Jay's left. "Yeap. We've known each other for, what, since birth?" He asks me.

"No, since we were both in preschool. And that's only because I hit you because you thought I was an alien." I corrected.

"So, who's this?" Harry points at Jay.

"Ja-" Jay coughs as if he's clearing out his throat . "Jason. Jason... Caine. Isn't that your last name? I only met you three weeks ago." I make up a story. I know that me and Jay will have to make up a backstory for him as we go along.

 "Yeah yeah." Jay nods.

A waitress with a apron wrapped around her waist comes over to us. "What will I get to start you all off?" She gets out her pad and pen.

"Black coffee with two sugars please." I tell her, crossing my arms over the table. Jay looks at me like he couldn't beileve I ordered that. I shrug my shoulders.

"Moutain Dew with a spritz of Dr. Pepper please." Harry leams back in his chair.

The waitress writes down mine and Harry's drinks. She looks over at Jay. "Anything for you, sir?" She askes.

"Water will do." He answers, shuffling in his chair. The waitress nods and leaves us.

I smile a little smile, looking at Jay and Harry. I look back at Jay to see him starring at me. My smile deminishes. "What? Is there something on my face or is your neck hurting so bad you can't move it?" I ask sarcasticly.

"No, it's just that I know someone who oders that exact drink." He answers.

"Oh, yeah? Who?" I ask, smirking.

"A friend of mine." Jay answers again.

"Well, no one could possible like Moutain Dew and Dr. Pepper." Harry puckers his lips.

The waitress brings out our drinks, sitting them by their respected owners. "What can I get you guys to eat?" She looks at me first.

"Cherry pie." I take a sip of my coffee. She writes it down, nodding.

"Double cheeseburger, no pickles, extra mayo." Harry opens a pack of sugar, pouring it gently into his drink.

"Uh.. Apple pie." Jay watches Harry.

"Alrightly. I'll be back with your food." The waitress goes back to get our food ready.

"Dude, why would you put more sugar into your drink?" Jay asked confused.

"Cause, it makes it better." Harry smiles as he moves his straw towards his mouth, taking a long sip. "So, Jason, where you from?"

 "Arkansas." Jay answered.

 "Hm. What's your ocupation?"

 "Um... Astronomy."

"Cool. Anything new up in the sky?"

"No. But we did find a planet we-" I kick Jay in the shin. He lets out a small moan. "We bought a new telescope."

 "Coolio."
