I look at the city lights. This would be the last time I see them. I look down below me. I'm really high up. But it doesn't matter. She doesn't like me.

No one will. No one ever will. They were right. 

i lift up my arms.

Goodbye.

Saturday, 11:00am

I get out of my bed and get dressed in a hurry. I got a piece of paper and wrote the letter for today. Today is the day where I confess.

I ran out of my house and hopped on my bike and rode to yuris house.

I put the letter in her mailbox and rode my bike back home.

I run inside the house and run up to my bedroom.

"Wow, that was a workout.." I breathe heavily.

I look in my closet and pick a cute outfit to wear. I pick a black long sleeve shirt with a light pink overall dress.

A few minutes later, I get a text from yuri.

Yuri: i got a letter from my secret admirer and they told me to meet them somewhere at 1:00pm, should i go?

Natsuki: of course! This is your chance to meet them!

Yuri: I'm pretty nervous but i'll do it.

Natsuki: awesome! Tell me what happens.

Yuri: alrighty!

I put my phone in my pocket and went downstairs.

"Where are ya goin' all dressed up?" my dad asks.

"Oh I was going to visit a friend if you don't mind." i fake smile.

"Whatever, just make breakfast already." he says rudely. 

"Of course, papa!" i grin widely.

"Good girl." he licks his lips.

I finally finished making my dumbass dad breakfast.

"It's ready, papa!" he gets up and walks over to me.

"It looks okay." he says.

What does he mean okay??

"W-what do you mean? Do you want me to make something else?" I ask nervously.

"Nah, my breakfast is right here." he stares deeply into my eyes and licks his lips.

He gets closer to me until my back is against the wall.

"P-papa.. The food is getting c-cold.." he cups my chin.

"No, my food is actually pretty hot~" he bites his lip.

I start to tremble and shake.

"Papa....p-please eat your food.." I can barely speak.

"Oh I will~" he says seductively, his eyes full of lust.

Right when he was about to kiss me my phone rings.

"Oh i b-better take this! I hope you like the food, bye!" I run as fast as I can upstairs and into my room.

"God that was close one..." I get my phone out of my pocket and answer the call.

"Hey natsuki." says yuri.

"Hey yuri! How's it going?" I ask.

"Im super nervous, are you sure i should do this?" she asks.

"Of course! I know you could do it yuri!" i say cheerfully.

"Thanks natsuki."

"Of course! What are friends for?" she chuckles then we say goodbye and hang up.

"Alright it's 12:50, I can make it."

I run down the stairs, say goodbye to my dad, and leave.

I run to the back of my house and go where the hill is. I sit there and wait until she arrives.

1:00pm

"Here she comes.." I mumble.

I see her walk in my direction and I can see her eyes widen.

"N-natsuki?!" she says shocked.

"H-hey yuri!"

My heart is beating so damn fast.

"You're the secret admirer?!" she asks, still shocked.

"Yep and I have a question for you."

I get closer to her.

She's trembling.

Why?

"Yuri, i love you. Will you be my girlfriend?" I ask.

Yuri looks at me with horrified eyes. What's wrong with her?

"I..i.." she mumbles.

"I don't like you." 

My heart sinks.

"I'm really sorry, natsuki. The letters were beautiful but...you're just a friend to me."

"..."

My heart. It hurts. Why?

"Are you okay? Natsuki?" she waves her hand in my face.

"Go." I say in a broken voice.

"Natsuki..." she reaches for my hand.

"JUST GO!" I pull my hand back.

Her face is full of guilt and she runs away crying.

What.

The.

Just.

Happened?
