Chapter five

HA! Of course I beat yuri.

"HAHAH! You're a rotten egg!" she frowns.
She stomps her foot.

"I'm not a rotten egg and you know that!" she turns away and crosses her arms over her chest. What the fuck!? Why is she being so damn cute??

"Y-you're just being a sore loser!!" I say rudley. Ugh, why did I stutter??
She puts her hands on her hips and sticks her tongue out.
I feel my cheeks heat up as hell. Why is she being so fucking adorable!?
I do the same back to her. Then we both burst out laughing.

"Okay, okay, natsuki you are the true winner." she says in defeat.

"HA! I am victorious!" she chuckles and smiles.

*FLASH*

"GAH!" me and yuri yell at the same time.

"What the hell was that?!" I see Sayori with a polaroid camera in the corner of my eye.
She took a picture of us. Anger and rage bolis inside of me. I run at Sayori and scream her name.
"SAYORI!!! YOU BITCH!!!" she looks at me in fear and runs away.

"COME BACK HERE YOU PIECE OF SHIT!"
wait...doesn't this remind you of something, natsuki?

"COME BACK YOU LITTLE BRAT!"

Oh my god....

Tears swell in my eyes as I fall and hit the ground.

"NATSUKI!!" yuri yells.
Sayori looks back and sees me on the ground.

"Natsuki!!! Are you okay!!???" sayori yells.
I see them both kneel down to me. My vision blurs.
I pass out.

...

Uh...huh...?

I wake up in a white room.
"What...is this...?" i say weakly. I see something purple peering over me.

"Natsuki...?" wait..i recognize that voice.

"Yuri...?" I respond, my voice as weak as ever.
Her eyes light up and she hugs me.
My vision clears and I can tell that she has been crying for a while.

"I'm so glad you're okay!!" she wipes her incoming tears away.

"Where am i...?" I say.

"I brought you to the nurses office." she smiles.

"Where's sayori..?" yuris smile turns into a sad smile.

"She's in the principal's office..." my eyes widen.

"Why the hell is she in there!?" I yell. she sighed.

"Well, I explained the situation but he thought it was sayoris fault. I tried telling him that it wasn't her fault, I even tried to put the blame on me but he didn't listen." I frown.

"What a dick." she nods in agreement.

"Well, i'll leave you to rest. She gets up but I grab her wrist.
"Can you... stay a little longer..?" I say with my face flushing.
She smiles sweetly.

"Sure. but if the nurse tells me to leave im going to have to-"

"Why don't you leave and pretend you're going to class but, when she leaves you can sneak in here and hide under the bed whenever she comes?" I interrupt. Her eyes widened.

"Well, if you think it'll work then, sure. As long as you promise me you'll get some rest."
She gives me a concerned gaze. I roll my eyes.

"Fine,fine." she smiles.

"But." I began. "It's gonna take me awhile to fall asleep-"
She interrupts me by petting my head.

"W-what are you doing..." I yawn. Why is this making me so sleepy?

"Goodnight natsuki.'' She kisses my forehead. I blush but ignore the feeling.
I'm too tired to feel anything....

~a few hours later~
I open my eyes. Yuri has her head on my stomach. At this point, after having that "dream" i don't really care if she sleeps on my stomach. She looks so cute when she's sleeping...so sweet and calm. So...innocent. Something I could never be. I mean, look at her! Shes fucking gorgeous!! I'll never be as pretty as her. My thoughts get interrupted as I see sayori walk in.
With the nurse.

"Oh shit-" I whisper under my breath. the nurse looks at yuri and i and she just smiles.

"Oh, hey sayori." she walks to me, her head down in shame.
Her eyes were dark and she looked like she'd been crying.
I sit up trying not to wake yuri and i succeed.

"Sayori..whats wrong?" She gives me a weak, fake smile.

"N-nothing.." sorrow filled her face.

"Sayori...ya know this isn't your fault... right?" I gave her a concerned look.

"Who else?? It's all MY fault!! I'm so sorry i feel so bad and-"
I interrupt her with a big squeeze.

"Sayori...it isn't your fault..it's just..when i was chasing after you it reminded me of a bad memory. It wasn't anything about you." She breaks the hug. She wipes her eyes and smiles.

"You promise?" she held out her pinky finger.
Aww this reminds me of when we were little!!!
"Pinky promise." i say back. I wrap my pinky finger around hers.

"Oh natsuki!! This reminds me of when we were kids!!" tears form in her eyes and she hugs me. I giggle.

"Me too." We hugged for a few seconds then Sayori suddenly noticed something.

"Is yuri sleeping on your lap??" she smirked.
since i sat up, now yuri is on my lap, not my stomach.

"U-uh!!!! No!!!!" I reach my hands to push yuri off of me but sayori stops me.

"It's okay natsuki. I already knew you liked her." she smirks.

"What?!?! How did you know!?" the feeling of rage and surprise filled my body.

"How did I not? It's superrrr obvious." she says proudly.
I smack her in the face.

"OW!!" she rubs her red cheek.

"I swear to god, if you tell yuri anything i will fucking, break in through your window, and murder you. And trust me, I know how to do that. Don't ask why."

"Okay, okay i wont tell her!!" she giggles.

"That's all the time you have sayori!" the nurse calls out.

"Aw, okay, bye natsuki." she gets up.

"Hmph, bye." she starts walking away but turns around.

"Meet me at my house after the club. You already know where i live."

"Okay...?" I say, confused.
I grasp my forehead.

"What a day..." I mutter.
