Chapter 2

【ᴛʜᴇ ᴛʀᴀᴠᴇʟʟᴇʀ ꜰʀᴏᴍ ɴᴏᴡʜᴇʀᴇ?】

M/n made his bow disappear into thin air and he opened Jean's office door.

Jean was seating on her chair as she worked on paperwork. He grimaced. Paperwork was the worst. He had to do her paperwork last year when she passed out from over work. And it was dull. Worst of all, it was tiring.

He knocked on the wooden door to get her attention.

"Jean, I'll be helping Amber clear some of the Hillicurl camps near the city!" M/n said as he stacked some arrows in the tube. (What do you call those thing again?)

"Alright," Jean said, waving him off, before she continued to sign the documents.

He closed the door and went out of Headquarters.

"So, did Jean let you off?" Amber asked, as she stood outside the doors of the building.

"Yep." he answered. He took the grimace off his face as he saw her and replaced it with a smile.

"Well, lets get going!" she suddenly ran off the wall, using her glider to get her to the middle of the city. "Race you there!"

"Oy! That's not fair!" He said as he ran off the building landing on the floor since he didn't get his glider with him.

They surely arrived at a wonderful time. The grass was as green as ever and the tree's leaves swayed to the wind. The sun shone on the leaves brightly making them thankful that they were under the shade of the trees.

The dirt crunched under their feet as they walked further in the woods. The woosh of wings reached their ears and birds flew off from the nest of the trees, probably to find food for the newly hatched birds, that chirped. They gathered around the spot at a nest to where the parent flew off.

"The weathers nice today, isn't it?" Amber asked as she let her guard down, her Favonius Warbow disappearing from her hands.

"It sure is," M/n said, before sighing. "I should've took the Kamera back at the Headquarters," he said, looking blissfully at the scenery before him wishing he could've shown Klee how beautiful the Whispering Woods was today.

"That's right, but you might tempt Klee to get out of Solitary Confinement again." Amber said.

"But that's the point isn't it?" M/n said, grinning at her.

Amber sighed fondly. "You and Sir Kaeya..." she mumbled, a rustling from a bush caught her attention. Baron Bunny appeared in her hands.

"Go! Go! Baron Bunny!" She tossed Baron Bunny in the direction it came from.

A squirrel came out of the bushes.

M/n eyes widened at free meat. He still needed to repay Sara for knocking over the tray of steaks. They looked delicious too.

"SQUIRREL." the male shouted suddenly.

M/n didn't bother to use the bow, got an arrow, and proceeded to chase after the soon-to-be-dead creature. The hunter and the hunted ran off before the Bunny exploded.
